[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside, all of you in your sleepwear, with a message on your phone.

Good morning, newly departed guest stars! You've got new co-stars to meet, a new dorm to explore, and the television in the main room with the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to them, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color. Or assign them to each other, really, no one's stopping you.

Once you've chosen your color (or, once it's chosen for you), your closets will unlock with 3 sets of beach-ready clothes fitted exactly to your size.

Also, the front door is currently locked. It looks like you actually have no choice but to get to know each other for an hour or two before those open up. ]

[ It took him a little while to wake up. Everything came rushing back at once, he needed time to collect himself... To remind himself why he even came here, what he took this chance for.

Doesn't help that he's waking up in a creepy bear onesie to find vines growing from the back of his head. Great. He's gonna have to go to the bathroom and find some scissors before those get out of hand...

[ this guy comes out wearing this and only this. he may have had an option to wear a shirt of some kind over it but... if he did, he clearly opted not to wear it. possibly because of the metal "tail feathers" sprouting out of his back. ... or whatever they are. they look more like chains, really.

despite his uh. loud. article of clothing, he spends some time just... standing back and watching with half-lidded eyes and a resting bitch face. maybe he's just not a morning person.

in any case, after a bit he's heading straight towards the television to punch in some dark color right next to the name "Corviknight".

then he turns towards the nearest person. ]

[he opens the door to his room with a slam, marches straight to the front of the line.

[ wincing a bit as he looks at her, murmuring something that sounds like "that's no good" under his breath briefly, so low that it can barely be heard, ]

[For some members of SeaDi their default is already a merperson...so don't mind this guy in a sunhat immediately playing with Under The Sea so he can have, you know, legs]

Would you say this is more or less efficient than using a potion?

[ Uses "Under the Sea" to change from a lanky mer eel to an equally lanky human. He has a cover up robe and jelly sandals on. Trying to stay modest and proper here. ]

Everyone, I would greatly appreciate it if all of you would select a color with utmost efficiency, as I have an errand to attend to as soon as possible.

[ after a series of loud thuds that may or may not be kick related, this guy shoves his door open and emerges in a turtle onesie that is covering only his legs, the rest just bunched around his waist. he gives the room a cursory look over before beelining to the tv to input a deep blue. ]

[ his tail hangs loose and relaxed behind him, like he hasn't a single concern. ]

[Apparently this small-ish boy in kitty slippers and cat-print pajamas (because that's appropriate when everyone is fish now) wasn't expecting there to be quite so many people here... going by how he stops at the entrance to the main room, takes a step back, and apparently has to steel himself for a second before actually going in.

He manages to make it as far as sitting down at the table, which may or may not be a monumental achievement, then promptly pretends he hasn't already read everything on his phone so he can stare at its screen without meeting anyone's eyes. At least he's present!!]

[ just casually leaving his room in nothing but these briefs, giving everyone a chipper wave before selecting his color right away ]

Alright! There's some talking to do before we split up, but let's give our best to choosing our colors first!

[ leaving her room in her pajamas, finding the closest thing to a cushion in the common room, and just

lying down on the floor and screaming into it for about ten minutes.

He'll approach to kneel down nearby-ish (lbr, at arm's length) when the 10 minutes begin to taper off to a conclusion.]

[There's a crash in his room once he falls off the hammock then tries to gather himself together. Once he reads the message and freaks out for a bit, he'll eventually get dressed in a t-shirt and green swim trunks and sandals before he walked out into the common room.

He walked over to the closest couch and took a seat on it. He looked around with a sheepish smile as he waved.]

Um, hello everyone, nice to meet you.

[ a tall woman walks out in this crop top and pj shorts. she does in fact have what is probably the best fucking abs in town. this woman is fucking shredding. holy shit.
