Murder Mysterium - Day 1
Who: You!
Where: The Game Tower
When: TBD - Day 1
[ When you come to the Game Tower, you find yourself in front of a large mansion couched in between two large garden mazes, and though you're not told to step inside the mansion yet you're free to roam around the gardens. Encouraged, even—there are alcoves in the gardens with flowers wrapping around the gates that are to your unit's color, and upon entering them you'll be able to speak to your unitmates without fear of being overheard, as though there were some sort of soundproofing barrier. You may only enter your unit-specific alcove. There are also plenty of other non-unit specific alcoves for you to enter and converse with someone, but it won't be entirely private—these pockets don't have soundproofing.
The rules are already available on your phones, and in fact, that and the photos app are the only things you can access on your phone right now. Your powers are off too, although you were allowed to bring whatever items are ordinarily on your person—provided they aren't any weapons.
Incidentally, your clothes have just changed in general—they're now distinctly early 1900s Americana, ranging anywhere from the Roaring 20s (Great Gadsby party-chic, flapper dresses, vintage and mobster suits) to Golden Age 30s (Hollywood regency glamour) to WWII 40s (bomber jackets, furcoats, oversized winter coats, sweatervests).
The game starts now. ]

With how willing others are to attack certain units, even though we cannot choose properly, I'm not certain this is a realistic option.
Not accounting for those who have already chosen weapons.

And even the teams that're stab-happy gotta know it'll be better for everyone in the long run if no one gets hurt.

Everyone knows lives get more points than games, anyways.

But even they gotta be able to realize it's worth giving it a shot. We're looking at like 50 people biting it, versus a chance at no one.

We figured we’d try at least this round.

For Lilis' safety, I cannot promise anything.

I thought that might happen, but if we can play without regrets then, I wanna try.

This would of course require both our units to either choose no weapon or coordinate on picking the same weapon, which I realize carries an amount of risk, but I felt it would be remiss not to propose.

It's probably safer to write down preferences for weapons and locations rather than say them aloud, though, if you have them.

[ And she always has a sketchbook with her, anyway.
quickly writing down "gun" and "garage" to hand to her. ]

I think we have a unitmate who'd prefer a different weapon, but she's already the weapon she wants to see in the world.
Thank you.

Of course. See you soon.
