[ Your unit-colored alcove has its own seating—benches, rather than any specific number of chairs, line the green bushels. KITCHEN
The kitchen is meant for neither socializing nor comfort: it's for food preparation, not food consumption. There's countertops and appliances, but no table to block the way for chefs and assistants if they were to busy themselves around the place. The floor is tiled immaculate black and white, easily cleaned of anything that may drip down from above, except for the grout with its faint pink stains that indicate otherwise. The appliances have a slight old-fashion bent to them-- standing on spindley legs like one might expect of a desk more than a stove, and the sink is large enough for a child to lie down in without exceeding its confines-- large enough to butcher something in or on. In the cabinets, porcelain and glass jars contain spices and flours, canvas bags filled with onions, but if you're looking for the perishables you won't find a fridge. Instead, behind a heavy metal door there's a walk-in-freezer with large carcasses hanging from butcher's hooks. The only thing that could provide any potential comfort for a person stuck in the room for the night is the coffee pot and and tea cup set found after rifling through the cabinet. This place is well stocked, and no one is likely to miss anything pinched.
. . . There's no one here but you.
Guess there's nothing to do but wait the night out. ]
