Murder Mysterium - Day 5
Who: You!
Where: The Game Tower
When: TBD - Day 5
[ When morning comes, you find yourselves more than freed from your rooms—the mansion collapses behind the last person leaving, completely and utterly demolished. There might be a couple rooms left standing, but . . . you certainly can't have a murder mystery game like this.
The game isn't quite over yet, though.
You may access the twin garden mazes, encouraged, even—there are alcoves in the gardens with flowers wrapping around the gates that are to your unit's color, and upon entering them you'll be able to speak to your unitmates without fear of being overheard, as though there were some sort of soundproofing barrier. You may only enter your unit-specific alcove. There are also plenty of other non-unit specific alcoves for you to enter and converse with someone, but it won't be entirely private—these pockets don't have soundproofing. Players should comment to relevant private threads that are being eavesdropped.
But before you run off to discuss—
You'll want to gather around the fountain.
Its water's stopped, though rather than any stillness in water you can instead see . . .
The details of each murder, as well as the rules, are available on your phones, and in fact, that and the photos app are the only things you can access on your phone right now. Your powers are off too, although you were allowed to bring whatever items are ordinarily on your person—provided they aren't any weapons. ]

...Can we assume whoever did this was aiming for a serial killer win?

It looks like ZRAEL didn't make it in, so that's at least one room that wasn't getting bombed - the Conservatory. Although besides the Master Bathroom being bombed by both 10IV and necROMANTIC, it would be entirely possible for a unit to go to the room they were supposed to bomb and throw it into Billiards instead.
...Well, assuming almost everyone went according to plan, at least. We might want to see which units spent the night together if nothing else.

There's something else, though. There's no motive. There isn't even a space where it should be.

But... most of that only matters if we're planning to solve it. We already decided to let sensitIV's killers secure a Killer win. We can easily let LiliS and avante lose so that this culprit can have their Serial Killer win.

The game is practically over, so now it's just a matter of who we're willing to let win.

I just - if Avante wins, maybe the revive won't suck so much. Y'know?

[Thinking it over...]
We followed the instructions we gave out - take it as you will, but I don't have much stake in winning or losing, so I was mostly interested in seeing if we could "break" the game. Pink and I are the only ones here, so even if we died, someone from our unit should have been able to revive us.
The guest units would presumably have the most motivation to win, since that seems to be tied to their participation, and two of them have already been eliminated. Assuming they weren't sure they would get a Detective Win, this was their last chance for either a Killer or Serial Killer Win. Although that's also assuming one of them wasn't responsible for sensitIV, since their victory is already guaranteed, but... I suppose they could have decided that a Killer Win wasn't good enough.
Other than that... it's hard to say. A Serial Killer Win is a good motivation for most of the units because it comes with healing.

Guess so.

But I could be misjudging things. I'm not very familiar with many people outside of my unit after all.

[Rye just said his thing, so,]
I don't even know anymore. Maybe it wasn't on purpose, after all.
