[ When morning comes, you find yourselves more than freed from your rooms—the mansion collapses behind the last person leaving, completely and utterly demolished. There might be a couple rooms left standing, but . . . you certainly can't have a murder mystery game like this.

The game isn't quite over yet, though.

You may access the twin garden mazes, encouraged, even—there are alcoves in the gardens with flowers wrapping around the gates that are to your unit's color, and upon entering them you'll be able to speak to your unitmates without fear of being overheard, as though there were some sort of soundproofing barrier. You may only enter your unit-specific alcove. There are also plenty of other non-unit specific alcoves for you to enter and converse with someone, but it won't be entirely private—these pockets don't have soundproofing. Players should comment to relevant private threads that are being eavesdropped.

But before you run off to discuss—

You'll want to gather around the fountain.

Its water's stopped, though rather than any stillness in water you can instead see . . .

The details of each murder, as well as the rules, are available on your phones, and in fact, that and the photos app are the only things you can access on your phone right now. Your powers are off too, although you were allowed to bring whatever items are ordinarily on your person—provided they aren't any weapons. ]

Okay, dude. Like... every other round I been right there with you. We voted for ourselves once, and we voted for no one, cause this is BS.

But this time, like... everyone was in the same spot. Y'know? We all knew where we had to be, and where everyone else was, and where to send the explosives.

If it was gonna kill some of us, it shoulda killed all of us. But it only killed two of us, so that's, like - people musta gone off the rails. Right?

Okay, so, because the game got new rules we were only like 70% sure we understood since we had no other experience and made plans on that understanding, it's obviously malicious if only a few people got blown up?

Everyone said they were on the same page. But if we all did the same thing, how come we got different results?

[ squints... considers but whatever, he's done. ] Then, I should be suspecting all of you because there was a bomb in our room when we got locked in?

It was rerouted, I think, but I can't be sure where. So, yes, it's possible that bomb is the one that killed the other two units.

If I go about this from the angle you are from, this attempt at working together is just a big farce and you guys decided to change plans and throw a bomb where it shouldn't be. So either way, two units would die, and you could frame another two of they threw it. That means four out of the running, amazing!

You're all really crafty number one manipulators, all of you.

For the record, it never once crossed my mind you or anyone else did it.

But, this is why I am so frustrated. Everyone's trying to be just, but it's fake. Every one of us is a victim. It's easy to forget. I just want to try and remind people of it.

There was nothing like that where we were. Believe me, I checked. Several times, throughout the night. Nothing.

And I honestly don't know why it was there or how.

I was fine with just letting it explode, but I wasn't one of the ones who made a choice. Wasn't even really sure there was a choice to begin with. [ because he literally just gave up and went to sleep in a corner. ]

Thank you for telling us. Clearly, this situation is even more complex than we could have guessed at.

I don't know if it will help any, but it seemed too important to keep hidden, regardless of what it now looks like.

Because I truly believe something happened, but it wasn't intentional... or they just screwed us with a loophole somehow we don't know.

Both sound entirely too plausible. I believe we'll know more when we learn who today's 'culprits' are. If things are as I fear they are, they may not even know themselves that they were the ones responsible yet.
