Murder Mysterium - Day 5
Who: You!
Where: The Game Tower
When: TBD - Day 5
[ When morning comes, you find yourselves more than freed from your rooms—the mansion collapses behind the last person leaving, completely and utterly demolished. There might be a couple rooms left standing, but . . . you certainly can't have a murder mystery game like this.
The game isn't quite over yet, though.
You may access the twin garden mazes, encouraged, even—there are alcoves in the gardens with flowers wrapping around the gates that are to your unit's color, and upon entering them you'll be able to speak to your unitmates without fear of being overheard, as though there were some sort of soundproofing barrier. You may only enter your unit-specific alcove. There are also plenty of other non-unit specific alcoves for you to enter and converse with someone, but it won't be entirely private—these pockets don't have soundproofing. Players should comment to relevant private threads that are being eavesdropped.
But before you run off to discuss—
You'll want to gather around the fountain.
Its water's stopped, though rather than any stillness in water you can instead see . . .
The details of each murder, as well as the rules, are available on your phones, and in fact, that and the photos app are the only things you can access on your phone right now. Your powers are off too, although you were allowed to bring whatever items are ordinarily on your person—provided they aren't any weapons. ]

gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
I'm tired of this place, but more than anything I'm tired of you all on your high horses treating every death and mishap as if it was on purpose!
Shit happens, or did you all forget you're in Hell?!
You mainstay units should be ashamed of yourselves for so easily throwing around "a killer's" intentions and what that unit must have been thinking because you know them so well.
Give me a damn break, you're no better than the producers that have you under their finger if that's how you see everything that's happened here.
It's okay to vote to execute people who killed because they obviously did it on purpose in a game where no one controls anything except a roulette of choices, right?
[ come at him, he'll take on every one of you.
or someone stop him from throwing a fit, either works. But he's mad after five days of B.S. ]
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
Yeah, tell 'em!
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
You are agreeing with me?
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
I mean, people are gonna do the people thing and I don't hold it against them? But it is still pretty fucked up if anyone's pretending this game's got anything to do with justice.
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
And for the record, the reason I'm trying to find out who did the killing this time around has nothing to do with whether they meant to do it or not or anything like that.
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
I mean, it's sort of part of the game. I just got so fed up hearing all the nasty whispers about everyone else.

But this time, like... everyone was in the same spot. Y'know? We all knew where we had to be, and where everyone else was, and where to send the explosives.
If it was gonna kill some of us, it shoulda killed all of us. But it only killed two of us, so that's, like - people musta gone off the rails. Right?
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
Everyone said they were on the same page. But if we all did the same thing, how come we got different results?
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
That's what you're saying.
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
Then how're you still - ?
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
If I go about this from the angle you are from, this attempt at working together is just a big farce and you guys decided to change plans and throw a bomb where it shouldn't be. So either way, two units would die, and you could frame another two of they threw it. That means four out of the running, amazing!
You're all really crafty number one manipulators, all of you.

That said - tarring all the permanent units with the same brush won't get us out of this mess either. I can speak for no unit other than my own, but we are of a mind with you. We have been abstaining where we can. Using our questions for... other things. Of course this isn't justice. But the people who deserve your anger aren't the people in this room. They're the ones who are hoping we get so caught up in the playing, we forget the nature of the game.
Now please get down from there before you fall in.
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
... But she's really big sistering like so... ]
I know... I'm just so frustrated...! I would have thought everyone would get that we are in trouble here and not intrinsically trying to murder each other to get out on top.
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
I had hoped so, too. For what my opinion is worth, I still believe the majority of these murders were the results of ill-fortune, not ill-intent. Unfortunately, the game itself is set up to make us feel that by rooting out the unfortunate, we're doing something 'good'. We're seeing 'justice' done. 'Tis far from true, but it is terrifyingly easy to get caught up in that. I very nearly did, until I realized what I was doing.
The true culprits are the producers. We can no more blame one another for what's happening, than hold the pieces on a game board responsible for their deeds.
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
But if this is the way all the games will go, Mainstays more than anyone need to band together! Your unit is family... but it doesn't have to be the only family you got, you know?
I just ... want a place for my sister to be looked out for and not have to look poorly at everyone she meets after I'm long gone.
I'm sorry for bundling you in, I know that you all aren't like this.
Re: gets on the fountain soapbox ledge to throw a fit.
