[ When morning comes, you find yourselves more than freed from your rooms—the mansion collapses behind the last person leaving, completely and utterly demolished. There might be a couple rooms left standing, but . . . you certainly can't have a murder mystery game like this.

The game isn't quite over yet, though.

You may access the twin garden mazes, encouraged, even—there are alcoves in the gardens with flowers wrapping around the gates that are to your unit's color, and upon entering them you'll be able to speak to your unitmates without fear of being overheard, as though there were some sort of soundproofing barrier. You may only enter your unit-specific alcove. There are also plenty of other non-unit specific alcoves for you to enter and converse with someone, but it won't be entirely private—these pockets don't have soundproofing. Players should comment to relevant private threads that are being eavesdropped.

But before you run off to discuss—


You'll want to gather around the fountain.

Its water's stopped, though rather than any stillness in water you can instead see . . .

The details of each murder, as well as the rules, are available on your phones, and in fact, that and the photos app are the only things you can access on your phone right now. Your powers are off too, although you were allowed to bring whatever items are ordinarily on your person—provided they aren't any weapons. ]

It seems like everyone did go to Billiards.

It makes option one less likely, unless someone was willing to risk themselves.

So its a question if the teams know who killed them.

[She nods. Then:]

And yet if we are looking at any of the latter scenarios, 'tis quite possible that the 'guilty' units don't yet know it was 'their' bombs which killed the victims. It could have been any one of us. It could have been Heart Soldier, even, no matter how little I know of it.

That is possible.

It might be they don't know either. We asked for color and we got white statue heads.

We had flowers, in a hallway.

White, not cream. [ he’s hanging around rye just waiting for this to be over. ]

They might not have had cream. If that was the closest color they had--

Flowers. So wildlife. In the hallway of a building... I knew it, it could be any one of us, and we wouldn't have any way to know...! That's why they didn't give the clues. They wanted us all convinced we were innocent... LiliS, what have LiliS said?

[childeishly]

Didn’t get a response. Did you, ..? And for having gone through with this plan aren’t we all guilty? I doubt the units that died really know who killed them, because the idea was to have the bombs go elsewhere, but which ones went where nobody knows.

[scattershot]

That's exactly what I'm saying!

Listen - I know it sounds as if I'm blaming you. I'm not, and you're right, we are all responsible. But if avante en garde have only been told who set off the bomb that killed them, they're not going to be making that kind of distinction. They'll simply be telling their truth. And LiliS, when they answer, will be telling us their truth as well. Their bomb could have come from us - Heart Soldier - or from any one of the other units here. But we have no way of knowing we're 'guilty', and that's what the producers are counting on. That's why they wouldn't give us the motives. They want us all blaming one another.

[childeishly]

...it sure does. [ shifts, ears flattening. ] And if we vote for just one or two units, then we're doing exactly what they want. We're all responsible, so we should all be held responsible.

[scattershot]

[She can't argue with that logic, so she won't.]

Then our way ahead seems clear. I'd like to wait for confirmation from LiliS before turning anything in, but what they actually have to say may well be largely academic.

[childeishly]

s'Fair. [ motions to rye and pink shouting. ] And if we're all guilty, then it looks like we may have an out... though who knows how things will shake down in the end. [ shrugs. ] The games are designed to completely screw each and every one of us, so I'll be surprised if we manage to pull this off... but I suppose I can spare some hope.

That would be my concern. I'd like to believe their theory the correct one, but - no, I can't shake the doubt that the Producers would ever allow us such a straightforward way out. Especially when everything else about this game was so carefully designed to tear us apart.

We're cream, but I guess we'd be close if they were hurting.

We don't have anything to do with flowers though. Other than like...nature?

The hallway was inside a building, a modern one. An ordinary hallway, but carpeted with flowers. It wasn't any kind of natural place.

And you got white, or cream.

I thought so. I was afraid this was what would happen - that it could be any one of us, and we'd have no way to know until we saw the clues. That's why they didn't give us the motives. They wanted us all convinced that whoever was responsible, it couldn't possibly be us.

What colors were the flowers??????

The flowers were purple. But the walls of the corridor were white.

Necromantic would be purple flowers.

Oh my gods-! [He is VIBRATING.]

That's why they didn't give us the motives...! Do we have anything back from LiliS?

We need to see if its all of us.

If its all of us, then we're Serial Killers. Alcheme and Future is Now is safe, and there's six of us-

It wouldn't be an inaccurate description. We all threw the bombs. It shouldn't matter whose actually hit. And it would certainly explain the lack of a clear motive.

No, no, if we're all serial killers, we get to revive six teams.

Alcheme and Future is Now already have theirs, we just need five-

Would they really leave us an opportunity like that?

Its the bet.

Right now, we vote out a team, to revive two. But if any of their killers are found, the accomplice and serial killer win might not apply anymore.

So either we vote someone out in hopes it will save both those teams so we only have to help four.

Or we skip at the risk of having to help five, or a clear sweep.

And they'd do it because if we did four and we learn clear sweep was possible, it would be horrifying. Nothing is worse knowing you could have done a lot of good, but didn't by trying to do a smaller evil to avoid a greater one.

I understand, but... what if we're wrong? What if there were two units who were designated 'killers', and all we've achieved by any of this is to keep avante en garde and LiliS from safety? I want to believe it's true - God, I hope it's true! - but if it isn't?

This doesn't feel like a solution so much as a dream.
