[Well he didn't expect her to literally tell him more but. He did tell her to. It makes him laugh, short and sharp.]

Are you still stuck with a child's mind as well? What a shame. Perhaps then it is because I am an adult, while you are a child and should obediently listen to your elders and guardians. Curb any violent urges to fit in with standards of human society and a sense of humanity though you are no longer human.

Or perhaps the answer is I make no apologies for the sort of creature I am, I am proud of it. You think they can tell you what to do, but there is no reason you must deny what you are and be ashamed.

"Hm. You know, I like you. I haven't felt that way about anyone in a while."

If there was bemusement there, maybe a little pride from that last part—that starts receding from his mind. Not disappearing—more like it's just slowly diminishing.

"Vampires try to hurt me, though."

[Maybe it's good for him to have a little bit of chill,]

So? Do you need to like or respect other vampires to be proud of being one yourself? You can despise them, even look to eradicate them completely if you want. If they are so concerned with acting like humans, doesn't that just make you better than the rest of them as well if you embrace what you are?

"...I don't really meet anyone like me very often. You're not people, right? You don't care about them."

She pouts slightly.

"I wonder if I should feel bad, though. People keep thinking they should be responsible for me."

["You're not people", he laughs.]

I think we both would count as people. But otherwise you are correct. I suppose half-demon is rather close to a vampire, easily mistaken as human, nearly human, yet distinctly not. When you say "people" think they should be responsible for you then, do you mean humans?

"Nah, it's vampires. People don't usually notice me, but the kind of vampires that try to be like humans. I guess they're not really people, either, but they're trying, so I figured they'd like that."

...I suppose they want to protect and teach you, a sense of pity for a child.

[Gee that's a big feeling of resentment right there. Barely contained rage, even though he doesn't show it.]

But why should you feel bad for them feeling responsible for you?

oh

oh no, this is even more of a child, what's he supposed to do with this. How do you play with child. He just stands there for way too long, looking dumbfounded? Did demon twins even play tag without murdering each other?? Probably not!

He honestly thinks about just leaving.

But this is probably more productive than writing a paper..........?

So what's the state of powers, can he do a sword teleport to where she is because he's going to try. If it doesn't work guess he'll just look like a moron swinging a sword in the air.]

[Vergil "I hate children with a burning passion" Devilmaycry, is, actually endeared. The secret is to recognise his sword is very cool.]

Let's see. It is a form of magic, cutting into space and time to move through it. I am very fast, and very well versed in using it. No there is no electricity. It belonged to my father, he gave it to me, perhaps around your age. I can go as far as I like with it. Even across the ocean or to the moon.
