[Welcome to the Isle of Berk. You find yourself in an arena, dug into the ground with a chain dome above, currently suspended in the air on a pulley system to allow easy flight in and out. The air is cold and carries the sea breeze, though luckily you find yourself dressed well enough in furs and leathers.]
[Before you stands a woman, a hard, serious, slightly judgemental look on her face. There is an air of authority to her, someone who should be listened to. Which might be undercut a bit by the baby Night Fury that follows after her as she paces in front of you. Notably, she never almost steps on the thing. It is always perfectly safe. Watching nearby is also a Deadly Nadder.]
Welcome to your opportunity of becoming a dragon rider. It is a great honor to join our ranks, but its also extremely dangerous. If you are not prepared to commit to your partnership, it could cost you life or limb.
Today will be a small taste of that. You could give up and leave, but otherwise, the ways you leave are sundown, with a lifelong friend and partner, or you need medical attention. Luckily for all of you, Hiccup has convinced these dragons humans aren’t an enemy so they shouldn’t go for your head right away.
If you fail, you can try again, but you will be learning from me instead of Hiccup. And trust me when I say, my standards are a lot higher. [There is certainly a hint of Danger in her words.]
[She stops her pacing, and turns to face all of you.] So. Who goes first?
[ —Man, whatever he was expecting when the involuntary naptime set in, this was not it. Quick look around, trying to figure out where he is, as well as for anyone other than the blond woman. ]
Me! ME. [ childe looks overly excited and instantly his hand shoots up, high. he knows of a couple dragons from home and he might even be bedding one, BUT SEMANTICS. this is different and he wants in. having a dragon friend seems like it could be freaking incredible, especially since they're able to tap into the elements like he could or... can...??? his vision is sitting on his side just like he were at home. ]
Well, that's more like it. Hiccup was excited, I was expecting you guys to actually be looking forward to this.
Though I guess you make sense. [She comes over to him.] Now remember. If Hiccup has to get it to help you, he will, but you know none of us want to force a dragon into something.
So do your best to get on her good side.
Step to the middle of the ring. Everyone else, back up! Give them space.
If he's not trying to fix some of the new infrastructure, probably tending to the rest of the Night Fury hatchlings. This one is only here because his mom is.
[And the temporary break in her authority as she kneels down for a quick scritch for the baby before straightening up, the air back without a hitch.]
[So you're all wet, sorry about that, but Astrid is going to another of the cage doors.]
All right, everyone try to not draw attention.
[And then she pulls the lever.]
[And there is a burst of electricity, drawn up to the chains that is near the door.]
[And another dragon.]
[Its harder to see inside this cell, full of metal things and fish and even a bit of ice.]
[The skrill, however, is out like a shot unlike the Tide Glider, zipping around the arena, and there is a feeling of wind as it zips around everyone. Thankfully not another burst of electricity, though it does dance around its spines]
Everyone stay still! Lupine, its your show. [A command from Astrid.]
[ holy shit that's fast ] [ okay, okay, he hunkers down a little reflexively, and — wishes their Imeeji powers weren't off, though he did notice Caeli was doing some nifty-looking tricks anyway, but look, he wants to fly. ]
[At the very top of the village, (save for the tall spire with a single home on it), not so far from the path between the village and the Dragon Academy, is a large hut. While small compared to modern homes in square footage, it is a large build, as if to accommodate a giant of a man.]
[Which may be the case as Stoick the Vast is a very accurate name. He’s working on the house roof, seeming to be putting insulation of sorts around a pipe and adding a tunnel of wood around it to house it against the house.]
[What might be more disturbing is he is not alone. There is what...appears? To be a woman? On the ground below, who he seems to be conversing with about the pipe.]
Shouldn’t the hot water still get out?
The PROBLEM is the water remains in the PIPE. Expansion OF ICE could ruin it.
[The woman’s voice is constantly changing in sound and pitch, as is her form. Sometimes tall, sometimes short, usually on the thin side, shifting shifting shifting, with the only constant is there is some resemblance to Hiccup, but how much varies.]
[ childe has no problems sticking around to make sure lupine doesn't become a human lightning rod. he's all for her dreams. ]
[ as soon as things are ok! he's doing his best not to yell excitedly BECAUSE HE'S ON A DRAGON. he's looking forward to telling zhongli all about this. as soon as he gets close to hiccup's father's house he motions for his dragon to land, though if she's not interested in getting too close he'll just jump off. ]
[Welcome to the village of Berk. There are numerous buildings built along the cliff side, and buildings stacked on top of each other, with number tall perches towering even higher. There’s also many places that lead deeper into the island in an expansive cave system of sorts. There are dragons and vikings everywhere, working together, spending time together. There also seems to be a number of construction projects in the works, with ditches getting dug, dragons helping bring things high up, and building outside of homes.]
[Most interestingly is a sight you can see along the cliff edge, where many boulder class dragons and ships carrying large loads of stone. The boulder dragons are taking in rocks being thrown and fired up to them to get munched up and then they spew out lava into the water in what seems to be an actual terraforming effort to expand the land without having to take up the forest area of the rest of the island. Its also possible to see a number of those same kinds of dragons on a beach not so far away, seeming to be resting with villagers feeding them, checking them for injuries, playing with a few, and otherwise tending to creatures who seem on break.]
[There is evidence of this being a project for a while, with a plateau of land built off the side of the village, but closer to the ocean and more uniformly shaped. There are also a number of new structures being built there, with a few already completed.]
[The plateau is even bigger up close, with several pipes disappearing into the ground and a large hanger like entrance into the island where it connects to the main island.]
[The houses are not quite uniform as to be expected of the modern day, but they are fairly similar, lacking the uniqueness of the homes of those native to the village. Also half of the buildings have signs outside them.]
[Visitor Housing: Welcome Former Idols!]
[Not all huts have this outside, with the rest looking to have some small personalization in decorations. Decorations that seem anachronistic to the setting. There are even battery powered lights.]
[You can also see a few familiar faces. Former Wild City, other graduates like Arya and Levi and more. They seem to be milling about and talking together or talking to natives. There's even a game of Volleyball of all things happening.]
[There are dragons and vikings milling about the underground. There are homes built into the cave walls, and there are nests for dragons, with comforts added in. Special rocks to sleep on, or hay or food and water that’s easily accessed, and some items that are more personalized to the dragon it seems. Though anyone paying attention may notice those items Change at random intervals.]
[The caves will open up to hangar like areas, for easy flight in and out. There are often people doing so.]
[There also seems to be an area with a large number of pipes heading topside , where a large slab of stone is set on the ground. What appears to be steam will slip out of the side of it and a sign warning of Danger: Hot. Dragons and dragon armor only.]
[There are a number of dragon babies flitting about.]
... [ oh, so this place is strange af too. LOVELY. childe plasters a smile on his face as he he peers down at all the smol dragons. that's too cute. he's tempted to go check it out, but finding hiccup should be his primary objective... though could he really convince him this place isn't real? hm. ] Milie, do you think we should head inside, or do you think Hiccup may be up there working some more?

Re: START
Izanagi, you next! Stand in the center, no weapons.
[And once orders are Followed, Astrid will be releasing another dragon.]
[And its a Night Fury. The cage is simple enough, with fish and water, seems more like a place to wait for a shorter time then the other dragons.]
[She steps out of the cage, eyes a familiar shade of yellow, approaching Izanagi with an imperious look.]
Re: START

Re: START
[And here is the LAST DRAGON.]
[Another Night Fury, this one with a familiar shade of hazel eyes.]
[Some may also notice at this time the baby night fury has light blue eyes. Much like Astrid's eyes. What could that mean.]
[Its cell is similar to the other, seeming to just be a waiting area instead of a place to stay like the others had been.]
[The dragon is slower then the other to leave, and he's looking at Hurricane with a curious look.]
