[He is going to get a new jacket and then explore that abandoned storefront. Just wandering through it and seeing if anything is amiss besides the lack of merchandise.]
Stepping into the abandoned store, it really does seem to be about what you’d expect - whitewashed walls, all furniture and carpeting stripped out, leaving behind only the unwanted mannequins, some still posed, others laying like logs along the floor. There isn’t really much to look at; it would be easy enough to just leave. But on second glance-
Your character may just notice some movement to follow deeper in the store, if they wish to continue investigating.]
Continuing along, the change is almost imperceptible. For a while, all that they walk past are the shadowy forms of mannequins lining the floors - but at some point, they aren’t just mannequins, but bodies, bloodied and maimed. Before long, there’s nothing but bodies all around, a mountain in front and scattered corpses behind, some still alive enough to groan and cry in voices that, at times, may even sound familiar.
But there’s one in particular, nearer, clearer to see than the rest. Because looking properly, they’ll find the body of Yvette.
Initially, it doesn’t look like much - a spider pattern carved into her leg, and a slit throat that seems to have been the killing blow. But something doesn’t seem quite right either. It feels like your character is missing out on something, some final detail...
And to top it off - whether or not your character intends to help, they have their own wounds to worry about. A missing left arm will surely need to be dealt with before they can assist. But somehow...
Somehow, your character just knows; for this moment alone, they have the power normally reserved for only sensitIV. They can heal wounds into scars, mend broken bones, attach or detach limbs or other organs, and manipulate flesh as though it were clay. But...
Is that even sufficient for fixing - for healing all of this...?
Much like the powers, there’s another sense, another tickle of knowledge.
Someone else could do this. Someone else could fix everything - there’s no need to take responsibility, not for something so complex...
[The missing left arm is very alarming. Rude, even. Luckily though maimed physical forms are more of an inconvenience for him than anything else.
And he knows the limits of sensitIVs powers. He's studied them for his own research. So with his good hand he kneels down and checks Yvette's pulse even though he knows the answer.]
[Weirdly, a lot of the corpses are pretty featureless now that he takes a closer look? It's hard to figure out who any of these are supposed to be other than Lots Of Dead And Maimed People.]
[Well, he needs a new arm so he'll try to find one of similar shape and skin color and drag them out of the pile.
Oh, he needs a knife.
There isn't a knife here is there? If there is anything to work with he will saw off the arm of the corpse. If not, well surely one of those clothing shops will have something, right?]
[Splendid. He will cover over Yvette's corpse with his new jacket. Kneel and say something in a foreign language before he contemplates the room again before speaking to no one in particular.]
Do you regret that you could not save everyone?
Or that you are burdened with the unique ability to save everyone?
[Nothing seems to happen. Although he can note that when he was occupied with Yvette and finding himself a new arm, even more corpses have manifested everywhere.
...Where was the exit, anyway? There doesn't seem to be a way out. Unless, perhaps, he decided to simply skip past all of this and let someone else handle it.]
[Well, if it is a corpse, the blood isn't flowing anymore so he can drain parts and infuse it with blood from other corpses. Ancients don't know about blood types so sorry about that Yvette corpse.
So he does attempt that. Making his own blood transfusion equipment from flesh craft from another corpse, draining small amounts of blood near the wound specifically on Yvette, replacing the blood lost, and then healing the wound again to see if she revives.]
But it does seem to be working - and indeed, there's a sudden spark like electricity, and she begins to breathe, the movement of her chest slow but even.
You know in your heart that this isn't the end. They'll die and continue to die, over and over and over. But it's okay. Everyone knows you'll always be there to fix them up, again and again, friendly and smiling. You'll figure out how to fix it all, even past the limitations of your powers. You will never need anyone else to look out for you - you can heal yourself, can't you? Never insinuate anything is needed or desired, nothing that could breed resentment over the power over the lives and deaths of others, the power you never asked for. You'll handle it all, again and again, smiling because at least you aren't helpless, at least you can do something.

What will they do?

[Or do they? He does try on one corpse to heal it completely. Specifically not Yvette's.]
Re: Mall
Re: Mall
He'll start with the former and if it gets tedious he might consider the latter.
So, he's going to heal them all one by one, this time starting with Yvette.]

There's a dawning realization, somehow. The spider-like cuts along her leg, and the slit throat-
It was because she was poisoned from the spider cuts, wasn't it?
He might have to finagle something else here to deal with the poison that's still in her bloodstream.]

Doesn't that make you happy?
Your character wakes up perfectly healed in a room. Their hangman game has been updated.
