I'm not very good at strategy... fireball does the most damage, should we use a bunch of those?

We could use...some of those. If we spend all our money on them, we might beat someone's first attempt, but then they'll know where all our traps are for their second.

Hmm... if we buy some oil, then we can do 40 damage with a fireball, which is almost someone's entire HP in one go...

If they go through the tile we place the fireball on, otherwise it'd just be 10 damage...and the trap activates when they're adjacent to the tile we put it on. So we'd have to find a way to make sure they land on the fireball trap directly. Maybe using catapults? Those would do 10 damage, and we can make sure the catapult lands directly on the fireball trap, and if there's also oil there they'll get doused and burned and die instantly.

Yeah, if we can set that up it's an instant defeat... oh, we could use a tray? That would pull them along a route...

Oh, yes! If we put a tray on each side of the entrance, and then oil after the tray, and then a fireball after that...I think that means it's impossible for them to make it anywhere at all? Unless they fall into the pit on purpose...

I think if they're willing to take a dive like that they can escape an instant kill.

That's only about four hundred and twenty points, right? We can add ten damage to each of those combos, I think. Maybe two hammers?

And then Alizarin's idea is to make a chokepoint with pillars and hatches - we could do that at that path after the first objective, I think. With two stomps, two trays, two oils, and two fireballs, that's 160 left for blocking the rest of the map off...we could maybe use bolt rocks and hellfire with more oil for that?

This is a lot of fire, actually.

It's not our fault fire is so efficient! Doubling your damage for ten points is really good.
