clearly this carefree soul couldn't be in on it. She's acting like this is a trip? ]

Okay! I like it here, but if you say so. [ Not a care in the world, but at least cooperative. ]

[ She does, however, try to pick up a candle herself -- not as a weapon, she's plenty dangerous without one, but to hold the candle up near her face and twiddle her fingers over the flame. ]

[ Well, while her companion is doing that the, Lumine is going to use the candelabra to scan the walls looking for additional clues or anything really. ]

[It's real dusty in here]

[ Excellent! This one is going to crouch down and tip her candle over so she can drizzle wax onto the floor. Helpfully, of course. ]

[ Sure seems like it! Next we're swirling hot wax and chalk dust together with her finger, messing up someone's hard work on their pentagram. She seems to be drawing a flower. Chaos gremlin go! ]

[ A job well done! Next she's going to move the candle holders randomly around the floor with no particular order in mind, screwing things up further! Is she winning this game yet? ]

[ Reaching out to catch her wrist. ]

We have no idea what you're doing. What if your drawing and messing everything up traps us in here? Forever?

Hm? [ She doesn't seem especially concerned, but does react to her wrist being grabbed. ]

Okay. What should I do, then? [ "go by the wall and sit on your hands" is probably the safest option, but she won't love it. ]

Help me look around this place. There has to be some kind of clue in here. Just don't change anything without talking to me first.

[ She deflates and looks extremely sad, like it would seem exaggerated if it wasn't so clearly genuine ]

[ Then she brightens right up and starts examining whatever of the floor she hasn't destroyed. Looking under the candle holders and everything. ]

[ She feels.... a little bad. Clearly she was just having fun! But there's nothing to eat here, or do. The novelty would have worn off and they would have been in a real bind within a day or two. So she tells herself this is for the best.

She's going to go over and examine the locked door. What does the keyhole shape look like? ]

taking the candle out of her candlabra and trying to insert it inside. does it fit. ]

But the door isn't actually locked and just swings open.]

[There are no visible reactions but your interior design sense is surely winning you points somehow.]

[ Frowns. ]

It's like no one's been in here for a long time. --Or else no one takes care of the place.

[ She heads back toward the pentacle diagram to take a closer look at it. ]

[the pentacle diagram is now covered in flowers drawn in wax thanks to SOMEONE.]
