ZRAEL Amnesplora
You awaken slowly, laying in the middle of a cold, hard stone floor … and realise that you have absolutely no idea where you are, how you got here, and who any of these people are.
Some of you may also be wondering who you are, too. Hm. That's probably concerning.

THE CHASM
Something chitters softly in the darkness way, way up above.
There's one door to the West side, and one to the East.
Anyone attempting to cross needs to roll 1D10.
✑ If 1-3: You fall, down, down, down into the darkness ...
✑ If 4-7: chitter chitter chitter chitter a HUGE VAMPIRE BAT the size of a dog swoops down at you, its gaping, salivating maw held wide!
✑ If 8-10: You make it safe and sound to the other side.
Re: THE CHASM
What should we do?
Re: THE CHASM
I don't think we'll fall, but... I'm not sure how safe it is regardless.
[ She's sweeping her candle from side to side. Is there any other way to get to the other door without having to cross the bridge? ]

Re: THE CHASM
[ she's going to take the other girl by the hand and lead them out onto the bridge.
roll of 7 means that as they go she's getting attacked by A BAT
but she's going to try to defend herself against its attacks with this candle she's still got handy. ]
Re: THE CHASM
[ Leaping at the bat then, sticking her arm out to try and wedge it in the bat's mouth while she tears at one of its wings, trying to rip the thin leathery wing skin away from the bony fingers and disable it -- she has experience with flying bat monsters, after all. ]
Re: THE CHASM
the bat screeches and tries to chomp back, maybe gets a couple nips at your fingers but it uh
you rip that bat apart]
Re: THE CHASM
[ turning to her companion and blinking away a red glow that came to her eyes ]
You okay?
Re: THE CHASM
[ Some minor cuts to her fingers, maybe, but it could have been a lot worse. ]
Let's get out of here, huh?
Re: THE CHASM
[ Onward across the bridge! ]
Re: THE CHASM
That went better than I expected...
[ And she learned a lot, mostly about how much crap her friendly copanion will not take if presented with a threat. Let's just hurry across to this next door then. ]
Re: THE CHASM
off you go you monsters]
