Avante Amnesplora
You awaken slowly, laying in the middle of a cold, hard stone floor … and realise that you have absolutely no idea where you are, how you got here, and who any of these people are.
Some of you may also be wondering who you are, too. Hm. That's probably concerning.

START: Pentagram Room
There's a wooden door to the East. For now, it's locked; there's nothing you can do to make it budge.

J-Jesus Christ!
[ Has he... been kidnapped?? Has he just been sacrificed to some sort of strange cult!? Time to pick up a candleholder in order to hold it defensively. ]
I demand that you stay back!
Re: START: Pentagram Room
Stand down, boy. Were I interested in attacking you, that stick of yours would do you more harm than good.

That one claims to be a victim in this as well. If he is lying, I will put him down.
[ she has no weapons and, admittedly, no memory of if she's any use at them, but fake it 'til you make it and all that. ]

Whatever he was going to do, he can't do it. He moves his mouth but no sound comes out. With a distraught expression, he puts his hand over his throat.

THE CHASM
Something chitters softly in the darkness way, way up above.
There's one door to the West side, and one to the East.
Anyone attempting to cross needs to roll 1D10.
✑ If 1-3: You fall, down, down, down into the darkness ...
✑ If 4-7: chitter chitter chitter chitter a HUGE VAMPIRE BAT the size of a dog swoops down at you, its gaping, salivating maw held wide!
✑ If 8-10: You make it safe and sound to the other side.
Re: THE CHASM
[ It's creepy. Good thing he's still got his CANDLEHOLDER. He's not about to let his only weapon go.
Glancing to the others. ]
Should we try and split once crossing this... 'bridge' for lack of a better word? It seems there are two doors. Though this is a little ominous, to begin with...

UNDERGROUND LAKE
If you fell from the Chasm … congrats on the tremendous splash you just made! That might have hurt, though you'll be glad to know that you didn't break anything. Hopefully you can swim.
If you came down the stairs … welcome!
There is one door to the East.
Everyone entering this room must roll 1D6.
✑ If 1-4: Something cold and slimy winds tight around your ankle.
✑ If 5-6: Nothing happens.
Re: UNDERGROUND LAKE
But he doesn't really have time to concentrate on the pain of that gigantic fall, because now he's flailing around in the water. They can probably hear a great deal of splashing, at least? Followed by coughing.
. . . But he rolls a 4. Which means there is something winding around his ankle. In a panic, he begins to kick, attempting to pull out of its reach and swim toward the shore. ]

Boy! Are you we-
[And then, after rolling a 4, a tentacle wraps around his ankle. Ah... Hiroto will take a breath, going underwater to fight whatever is under there, he guesses! He summons a glowing, golden sword like one he had seen himself summon in his memories, trying to stab the tentacle to make it let go.]

OFFICE
You'll also find a coffee mug filled with frigidly cold black coffee … and another one, almost empty. And another one, half full. And another one; two big gulps would've finished it off. A mostly full bag of gummy bears. A black robe flung over the back of the spinny office chair, with a pair of rubber gloves hanging out of the pocket.
Against one wall is a counter with a kettle, a pot of coffee grounds and a sink. Beneath the counter is a fridge.
There is one door.

BASEMENT LANDING
There's not much here except … coal. Piles upon piles upon piles of coal, the floor caked in a thick coating of ash and soot. It's spectacularly filthy.
There are doors to the North, South, and West, and … a set of closed elevator doors? to the East.

That's where she checks first, pausing a long moment as she does to take in the strange new information that she looks.... approximately the same age as the "youths" in her circle?
Alright, focus.
Is there anything else notable about the mirror or its frame? She'll also lift it away to check behind it, if possible. ]
