Nine-Nine Heart - Run 1

[It's time for a new an exciting place, right? A land of adventure and fun and excitement!
Wait? Then why does this look like Tokyo-F. Like a Tokyo-F that has seen better days.
A dark purple haze has settled over the city, thick and suffocating, oppressive and heavy. The sky above is filled with yawning teeth and blinking eyes stare back at you. Buildings lie in tatters and their remains litter the landscape.
A few proud buildings still stand tall! The most prominent one among them - THE GAME TOWER. Though it is sporting more of an evil villain castle vibe than you remember. And it certainly used to be taller and not leaking out that purple smoke filling the air. Nonetheless it stands as a beacon in the city, the focal point in the ruin around you.
A voice echos in your head. "Find the Dark Master."
GAME START!]

Please don't let me be the one to add more trauma to our overheaping plates.

Worried about me? Ha! As you can see I'm doing fine. Doesn't everyone play games with their inner demons, and their inner demons fucking cheat?
I hope you don't think I'm a nutcase after this.

[He does laugh though.]
Inevitable? In what way? That guy over there is just as much me as I am.

Or whatever. I'm not clear on how literal all of that was.

I told you, you summoned a giant demon. You and thief-you and some weird magician looking guy. It was like ten meters tall and it had horns and wings and... a second dragon head, and you wanted us to pledge loyalty to it.

[Pointing across the room.]
He wanted you to pledge loyalty to it. I'd want at least a name before going that far.

He and I are the same person, but that doesn't mean we agree on everything.

I wouldn't recommend it.

Though I guess be careful around Hell's wish though that shouldn't be a surprise.

[He looks at the table with a crater in it.]
Guess you can't even look at the rest of the place.

[Pointing to a pile of ash on his side of the table.]
