Castle Game: Heart Soldier Senshi

[Suddenly, you hear the wailing of a horn. Outside, tension is turning to panic. You can't see anything, but you can hear people gathering up their things, sobbing in fear or speaking in harsh whispers. A lone voice calls from the distance:

The enemy approaches!

Upon the map, an unfamiliar geography appears -- several small nations, clustered together. Outside of them, an endless sea of enemy forces, identified only by a symbol of a cracked skull. Each of the small nations is marked with a flag in one unit's colour, and a tiny model of a castle.

You are at war. How will you protect your people and yourself?

Actually, it's not a bad idea to gift first, then steal. It would depend on how much we trust our luck and predicting skills, though.

If we steal first and end up with a high value, a lot of units would just gun for us because we have more, if they're not thinking about stealing from units that are likely to get gifts.

...So one way we can do is to give some of what we have now, and then bet on stealing from units that we think will also get gifts the next to try and keep ourselves not-dead.

I can agree to this... but I expect others will be playing the same and then fighting for survival in the last round.

There's no guarantee we can steal without dooming who we steal from.

The other thing is...and honestly I want to give something to pep and Lilis, so I'm not going to stop anyone, but...

...Well then, I feel I can say that while I agree with giving gifts out, then we should brace ourselves for our gifts getting stolen. 'Cause I can't say no one isn't thinking of stealing from units who are likely to receive gifts from units that may be thinking like us.

Just...yeah, we can do it and I don't think any of us will regret it, I just don't want us to be surprised if ends up meaning little else.

You said you wanted to steal round three to make up for it — fine, whatever. If that's what it's gonna take to send help their way. But I do wanna send help.

And I said I agree with sending help because honestly, I don't want to see Lilis or pep...or avante get completely fucked.

What I am saying is that I'm not going to be surprised if it ends up accomplishing nothing, 'cause decent enough people can still be assholes when well-beings are on the line.

Even if someone makes a grab for incoming gifts or whatever, that's one more gift for them to grab, to cushion against the other stuff they would've lost.

So it's not nothing. Even if it's not as much as it could be, it's not nothing.

Well, since they're low--they're probably not going to be the units highest on everyone's list to target this round, right? So... let's just hope that it works out okay.
