Pokemon: The Grassy Hill

There's only one way to go from the Laboratory, and that's along the lane leading down the grassy hill. On the right side, there's a small farm where those of you that possess rideable Pokemon can learn to do so, as well as a farmer who could use some help herding their Mareep, Tauros, and Miltank. On the left side, there are large meadows filled with fruit-bearing berry trees, an ideal place for picnics and outdoor parties.

I wonder how many times these things evolve. Like, do you think he's going to get even bigger! Soon he'll be bench-pressing us!

[ sits up and sets the puff into her lap. ] Awww. That's a super cute name. [ looks over her shoulder at gabite. ] I just named him Sharknado.

[ gabite doesn't seem to mind the name, so at least there's that. he watches haru curiously and then tips his head downward and attempts to do the same to her. b- back massage??? ]

Dude, that I gotta see.

Sharknado, do you think you can do that now?

[ gabite seems a little dubious but he gets on his back to try aaaaand it goes about as well as you'd expect. he's not able to do it. ]

Ok let me try you! [ he's 123lbs so d.va won't be able to lift him either. ]

I bet a could bench Koosh. [ chuckles. ]

[ at some point she'll probably leave off to go back to digging out the insides, but it really just means she's trusting him to do this part on his own. ]

Well, we won't be able to decorate until the structure's dug out, but if we wait too long then we'll probably be all sweaty and tired.

Should we go now and get a few things quickly? Or maybe later once we've had a chance to rest and get a bath?

[ Charmander makes a little huffy noise. But she'll just. Pat his head; not all of us can be early bloomers. ]

Do you think he'd rather help with splitting wood or digging more?

[ she covers a laugh. ]

Alright fine. We'll work on the base first and then find him a ~*~friend~*~.

Sharknado, which would you prefer? [ gabite seems to consider the options and then lifts his arms up, swiping at the air. ] Splitting wood it is. Let's see what you can do.

[ she grabs a piece of wood and throws it up into the air, and gabite gets ready and then slashes the wood in half. ] Nice nice~~~!

[He seems like he's got it, more or less? He's been getting some woodworking practice in lately, and he's pretty good with his hands, so he's ending up with something sturdy and solid.]

[Plunks himself down crosz-legged on the ground, then lays back.]

[Koosh waddles over, curious.]

[You know what's great training? Herding cows! Especially big, temperamental ones. Despite his small size, this Riolu was fearless in facing down Tauros - honing his foresight by dodging attacks, and applying a little force palm when they needed a little push to get going.

And despite his lack of powers, Griffin's running with them too. Hopefully not getting gored by horns.]

[ she stifles a laugh. gabite walks over and looks down, wondering what's going on too. ]

[sits in the grass and carefully holds jack so he doesn't start a forest fire]

[Koosh scoots in a little more, and Hurricane picks him up, straight up over his head, in a bench press.]

[Koosh cocks his head to one side so far it's comical, peering down with wide eyes.]

Tadaaa.

[ she claps her hands, IMPRESSED. ]

[ gabite is... still confused. what. just. happened. ]

Amazing. Simply amazing.

[ gabite leans down and nudges hurricane. he wants to try too. ]

He's super tiny. And like 70% fluff, he don't weigh nothing.

[Eyes Gabite.]

[Sets Koosh down.]

...pretty sure you're gonna squish me, dude.

[Gathering plenty of fruit before sitting down next to, offering Lavender one as Tsubaki claims another one to climb on]

[ After raiding the shopping district for some food and a blanket, it's time to relax underneath one of these trees and enjoy a hearty lunch! Blaze is helping Hiryuu spread the blanket, but he keeps getting distracted by a few wild butterfree that keep fluttering over to inspect the brightly colored blanket. ]

It's such a nice day out!

[ It looks like they have way more food than they can eat though--a case of their eyes being bigger than their stomachs? Or perhaps they're hoping for some company...

[ Good deal! Hiryuu, meanwhile, will be concentrating on scooping out a door way and then creating the wider part of the main--only?--room of the house. Charmander is a BIG HELP and has a ton of energy, thank goodness for him. ]

[ he has raided the shops for a bunch of raincoats for both him and sliggoo. he's already gone through, hm, three or four? he's having trouble keeping track, honestly. ]

Sligoooo... [ he stops walking, taking a knee alongside her, his hand coming to rest atop her head. ] It's alright. I don't mind this. It's kind of fun, y'know? Soon we'll have worm a complete rainbow of colors!

[ he stands back up and that's when he spots hiryuu. ] Hey Hiryuu! [ sliggoo seems excited to meet another one of yugi's friends so she sticks closely, hurrying alongside him to join her at the picnic. ]

[ she is going to kneel in front of koosh. ] Come here Koosh. [ time for cuddles! ]

Gabite gab gab. [ he seems disappointed that he can't join in the fun, at least until he realizes...! he's going to reach for koosh. watch! he can bench-press him too!! ]

Blaze. I have an even bigger and more important job for you. [ gabite immediately looks over, fussed. ]

[ she grabs a few of the smaller pieces of wood and starts setting them up in a pile. ]

Why don't we make a fire pit?
