Pokemon: The Outskirts of Town
On the outskirts of town you'll find large plots of land, each with a sign with your unit in front. They look like they'd be perfect for cultivating gardens--perhaps from those fruit trees you saw before. There's even space enough that you can build your unit's Pokemon a shelter to live in. There's also a scenic outdoor onsen with tiered pools carved out of the sides of another hill perfect for enjoying a relaxing soak after a hard day spent playing and working.

Coyote! H-oly shit. Is that your pokemon? [ goomy tilts its head and looks over the two of them. ] Oh, ah, this is Goomy. [ goomy trills at her introduction. ]

[Heading on in to the onsen, Rufflet tucked under his arm and scritching idly at its cheek feathers.]
Man, gimme this town over the one in that other game any day.
no subject
Right. It's so much nicer. And the stuff's all real.
[ on reach the onsen she realizes... ] I don't have a suit. [ slaps a hand to her head. gabite doesn't care and immediately dives in. shark torpedo in his natural habitat or something! ]

[Leaning way over to peer in the onsen, trying to see how deep it is.]

[Oh thank goodness someone who might know what to do with a patch of soil and some berries that wasn't just 'bury them and trust to luck'.
[At least her eevee is good at digging...! Perhaps a little too good. Oh well.]

[ Ftr, at this point she has a whimsicott. So.

[It's nice and quiet in the garden area, which is what Intensity thinks Maiden will enjoy the most.
He leans up against a nearby tree while Dratini coils her tail and tries to spring her way up to that delicious delicious fruit]
no subject
...ah, this is nice. Ah, thank you.

Intensity, on the other hand, is keeping an eye on Ralts. Never trust the quiet ones]
It's seemed on brand for you.

after thinking for a bit, she leaves and returns with some of the fruit from the trees she saw earlier and a knife to cut them up with, although she keeps pausing to check that this buddy hasn't wandered off and is still sniffing at things nearby. ]

[Griffin runs over, with a large, bipedal dog in tow. Or maybe it was a wolf, or jackal? With spikes?]
My dog evolved! He's like a little pointy person now!

[ she looks like she's still processing what to make of this. ]
Mine's still... growing, I suppose? I haven't checked to see if he might grow up into something else... this is Simha, by the way.
