Pokemon: The Grassy Hill

There's only one way to go from the Laboratory, and that's along the lane leading down the grassy hill. On the right side, there's a small farm where those of you that possess rideable Pokemon can learn to do so, as well as a farmer who could use some help herding their Mareep, Tauros, and Miltank. On the left side, there are large meadows filled with fruit-bearing berry trees, an ideal place for picnics and outdoor parties.

[ Null rumbles a noise again-- it doesn't seem to be able to really "speak" with the mask on-- and turns towards the tauros and miltanks to start rounding them up too. ]

Yeah? ... huh. Wonder what that's like.

[ Plover watches quietly for a moment. ]

He looks like he's enjoying himself.

[ gabite doesn't seem to mind that he can't talk. he's just kind of thrilled about having a friend that's as good at herding as he is. maybe even better, although... that's not something he'll be admitting or acknowledging because pride or something. ]

Maybe Sharknado will evolve again! Or your pokemon. Does he have a name?

[ she smiles, leaning on the fence. ] Looks like they're both having a blast.

[ gabite snaps at the tauros getting out of line, which they keep on trying to do, because they're not thrilled about this. ]

Yeah, maybe. He's called a "Type: Null" but-- I've been calling him Seimei.

[ who seems to be getting into a bit of a tiff with some of the tauros on the outer edge, shouldering them back into line-- and when that doesn't work, snarling with Scary Face.

Which seems to do just fine, even with the mask on, and they get moving post-haste. ]

Huh, that's an interesting name, ...but Seimei is nice too. I probably should have thought of something a bit better for Sharknado, like a real name, but... Sharknado can totally be his Idol name! Kinda like me~!

[ gabite snaps at another one of the tauros, but it doesn't seem to work this time around, the pokemon using take down and knocking him to the ground. gabite climbs back to his feet and growls, using sand tomb to trap the bastard. ]

Yeah? You got a weird B-movie sounding idol name?

[ Null sure doesn't like THAT. it bounds over the line of tauros in a single huge leap, charging over to tackle the errant bull with its head lowered. Back in line!!!

Plover... starts heading towards them. ]

Geez, they're getting rough. Stupid cows.

[ she crinkles her nose. ] No. I have a great name. It's D.Va! [ she throws up a peace sign. ]

[ it gets the hint after that, as do the other tauros who were thinking of a mutiny of sorts, all of the pokemon keeping their eyes forward as they're moved into another area of the pasture. ]

[ gabite seems pretty annoyed that the tauros hit it at all, huffing and puffing as he joins null back alongside the herd to finish this off. ]

Guess they don't like taking orders from other pokemon.

Diva totally sounds like a B-movie idol name.

[ With some amusement.

Null trots alongside Gabite and dutifully drives the tauros and miltank back into their own pastures, huffing a heavy breath. Then he turns to Gabite, nods, and starts heading back to meet Plover and D.Va. ]

Well, y'know what they say. Stubborn as a bull and all.

B-Movie... [ huffs. ] I'm an A-Lister, easily.

[ as soon as the other pokemon have successfully been driven out to pasture gabite hurries back over, jumping over the fence and grinning proudly at d.va and plover. did you see? you guys saw, right? ]

[ d.va reaches to pat his head, snorting at plover's comment. ] Very true. If that's the case they'll probably break formation a second time just to stick it to you guys.

[earthquaked]

[ null comes over more sedately, stopping next to them. Plover watches Dva and Gabite for a moment before-- with MUCH hesitance-- reaching out to stroke null's neck, once. ]

... good job.

[ it looks a little surprised but. Leans into it. ]

You want to see if we can get these guys some berries for a job well done?

... sure. Don't know how this guy can eat, though... guess I'll try getting the mask off.
