Pokemon: The Grassy Hill
There's only one way to go from the Laboratory, and that's along the lane leading down the grassy hill. On the right side, there's a small farm where those of you that possess rideable Pokemon can learn to do so, as well as a farmer who could use some help herding their Mareep, Tauros, and Miltank. On the left side, there are large meadows filled with fruit-bearing berry trees, an ideal place for picnics and outdoor parties.

which just fuckin
land onto the ground, making deep holes into the dirt
wildly looking up and down before calling down to them ]
Onou-saaan! Renko-saaaan! Are you two alright!!
no subject
[He's up a second later, off and running toward the fish.]
Jesus, dude, I'm sorry. We weren't expecting fish.
no subject
they do start flopping up, as if trying to jump out of their holes
breathing out a sigh of relief ]
- It's alright, it seems they're fine! And in terms of who belongs in the skies, certainly, fish don't . . .
[ moving to start hauling the pink fish out of the hole when it jumps up ]

[Koosh comes over behind him, cocking his head as he watches.]

???
whatever it's trying to do . . . nothing happens. ]
They're exercising! Magikarps can jump to the heights of mountains, so I thought it would be fun if they stretched their fins a bit. They were eating a little while ago and they got energetic, so it seemed like a good way to burn off the excess energy.
[ hauling out the black fish now ]

meanwhile, the pink one continues to splash. ]
It seems not. They're not quite fish, but rather, fish-like creatures.
no subject
Uh.
Does this one wanna get picked up, too?
no subject
[ turning to look
tilting . . . head . . .
squints ]
Onou-san gets tired easily, so this child likes to be held quite a lot, but as for Renko-san, I don't think that child particularly needs it, but . . .
You can try, if you like?
no subject
[Holds... his hands out??]
no subject
maybe it's just energetic.
in the meantime, just sort of petting onou from his spot, feigning some level of casualness ]
no subject
You, uh. You like getting petted?
[What do you do with a fish??]
[Koosh doesn't seem to know either. He's wandered over to stand by Hurricane, peering at the Magikarp.]
no subject
. . . ?
[ THIS one is petting onou, so ?? ]
Renko-san is energetic. . .

no subject
Oh dear -
[ looking back to hurricane and then to the retreating pink fish ]
. . . I suppose not - ? Oh -
I wonder if it's because your child is around, too. . . ?
no subject
Look less like you're gonna eat a fish or something.
[Koosh scoots back some, and Hurricane goes to try and wrangle this fish back into its hole.]
Dude, you can't just like... disappear into the grass!
no subject
bounces along
fairly quickly actually
maybe it will actually just disappear into grass? thank you very much ]
Ahhh. . . Uhm . . .
no subject
Flop! You can't just flop off!
[Going to try and circle around to the other side and chase it back this way???]
no subject
when hurricane goes to try to chase it, the fish
instead
jumps into his arms. ]
no subject
[An arm full of fish????]
