Pokemon: The Residential District

The residential district is home to dozens upon dozens of private homes. Here you can also find the post office, which could really use some volunteers to help them deliver all their mail, as well a construction crew looking for some volunteers to help them build a daycare center. At the heart of this area, you'll find a nice, large park full of sports equipment, swing sets, a giant wooden fort with slides, monkeybars, and tunnels, as well as other play equipment--perfect for people and Pokemon alike. And for those who can't seem to behave themselves, there's an empty jail staffed by some very strong Machamp, too. (So behave!!)

[ While they are discussing the merits of talking or not talking with the Pokemon cops (who are standing right! there!), Charmander is getting back on his feet and will go have a conversation with them in Poke-language, waving his arms animatedly. ]

All cops are to be taken as corrupt until proven otherwise five times over.

[ like she knew the armored ones in Joker's memory were bad but

At least back home... probably not all soldiers are evil?

Meanwhile, Machamp is nodding its head, and now Snubbull has entered the conversation--and a decision seems to have been made. One of the Machamp comes up behind B. ]

Champ! Ma. Champ.

[ So they are not. No one seems to have told them this though. ]

[ One of them picks B up by the back of his shirt--not unlike how you see mother kittens lifting a kitten by the scruff--and with another of his three hands, it unlocks the jail cell and opens the door and it lumbers inside--and in follows the second Machamp, followed by the Snubbull. B is gently plunked down on the wooden bench inside, and the Machamps sit on either side--Snubbull stands in front--

and

they make v's with their fingers on each of their hands. Even the little Snubbull. And Charmander tugs on her skirt and flails his arms and says something that--it ought to be unintelligible, but she's pretty sure-- ]

I think I'm supposed to take a picture?

[D2 is going to pose in front of B like the lil' diva they are

B. Holds up a hand for a V sign]

[ She. She holds up her phone and takes the picture. Although the command is "Cheese" all of the Pokemon can only say their names so. Well. They're Doing Their Best! ]

How'd it come out? Do you want a picture?

[ Hiryuu turns the phone around to show them the shot--it's actually really cute? Smol boy B surrounded by BIG, HAPPY, TUFF POKEMON. And then tiny little diva ditto on his lap and a perpetually grumpy pink dog. Honestly, it's a cute pic--very silly. ]

That's pretty good, right? I think I would like one, yes.

[switching places with her]

Go go go! Pose for me!

[ Hiryuu doesn't seem to know what to do but. The Machamp are helpers! They hustler her in and show her how to do the v-for-victory

Charmander, though--he's the one really hamming it up. Flexing non-existent biceps and putting on a faux-vicious grin behind the Snubbull. ]

[ oh. my god.

well, her smile becomes a lot more natural because she's laughing. ]

B! That's not fair, I didn't take nearly that many pictures of you!

[ And now she thinks she definitely should have. ]

A groupie is a fan who hangs out around their idol a lot. Often implied to be sleeping with said idol!

The machamp behind them are laughing. ]
