Pokemon: The Beach & Bay
Keep heading past the downtown area and you'll come to a sunny beach and the ocean! There's a stall where you can trade your uniform for a unit-appropriate swimsuit so you and your Pokemon can enjoy the sand and the sea together! There's a cart nearby that gives out lemonade and ice cream for free to help you beat the heat. You can also take advantage of the local ferry: although there's a massive sign that reads "Safari Bio-Dome, Coming Soon!" for now it's mostly good for sight-seeing all the marine Pokemon in the bay or catch-and-release fishing off the side.

And give pets out for free when they've been making bank on them. For shame, that would be a bad economic choice.

. . .If they can, like, make up weird creatures like this, why bother dragging all of us into this stupid world anyway? They could've just made up some fake people, too.
[Marill's a good swimmer, but it's also just very chipper and cheerful and bobs at the top splashing lightly, waiting for its playmate to resurface.]

But she also coils herself around Marill twice over and dunks them back under. PLAY WITH ME!]
Who knows? Maybe we're all part of a spin-off show while we're playing around with exotic animals.
I bet it's cheaper to kidnap someone than to model them anyway.

Fine.
[Intensity snaps his fingers and for a good while there, it looks like nothings going to happen.
But Dratini pops up much closer to the shore (Marill free so the water pokemon was let go at some point) and starts--- well, for -- lack of a better term to describe the sound -- whining before flopping dramatically onto the beach at Kohime's feet. They were playing!? What gives!]
no subject
Uh, am I supposed to be able to understand that?
no subject
It whines another pitiful "Drati~" as it tries to curl around Kohime's ankles]
More or less.
[Certainly not doing anything to stop Dratini. That's for sure]
no subject
[Taking a few quick steps back, her fur standing on end. And then hissing at the Dratini for good measure.]
no subject
She looks up at Kohime with big woobly anime eyes.
(Intensity tries -- and fails -- not to laugh)]
no subject
She gives Intensity a Look when he laughs. ]
You cuddle it, it’s your poke-whatever.

[When Dratini sees that it's ploy is not working, it sighs (if a pokemon could sigh) and sits back on it's tail, bringing itself up to about 4 feet of height and regarding Kohime curiously. Why is this person almost as sour as her master? Obviously an intervention is needed]
no subject
Why is it staring at me like that?
no subject
[Dratini whips her head around to glare at her trainer]

Kohime’s just gonna be over here cracking up, though. ]
no subject
Okay, yes. Yours is broken.

[Marill chirps and wiggles his upside down arms at Intensity like he wants to be cuddled. ]
no subject
Think fast.
He's tossing your mouse at you to catch]
no subject
Hey! Watch it!
no subject
I thought you were supposed to catch mice!
It was mostly dry.
[As evident by the water still dripping off the edges of Intensity's trenchcoat]

Did they really put you on rat duty?
[He doesn't know if he should find that hilarious or insulting. And his expression says as much]
