Pokemon: The Beach & Bay

Keep heading past the downtown area and you'll come to a sunny beach and the ocean! There's a stall where you can trade your uniform for a unit-appropriate swimsuit so you and your Pokemon can enjoy the sand and the sea together! There's a cart nearby that gives out lemonade and ice cream for free to help you beat the heat. You can also take advantage of the local ferry: although there's a massive sign that reads "Safari Bio-Dome, Coming Soon!" for now it's mostly good for sight-seeing all the marine Pokemon in the bay or catch-and-release fishing off the side.

Probably not a whole lot, honestly. I don't think they're very smart.

[ stretching his arms out, up and behind his head for a brief moment ]

Mm - mmm!

[ and, letting go to get into position ]

[also doing a quick stretch]

[and he's taking off

the count is more for himself, anyway. he'll submerge his head, now - he'll swim, now -

and he's swimming too, properly. fairly average swimmer over here ]

[doodle's not an amazing swimmer by any measure either, but his agility does work for him on the initial speed burst anyway]

honestly he's much more engrossed in trying to swim properly and not wig out but also likely is not going to get himself a speed boost anywhere here, though he does shift to nearly turn before touching the stone so he can kick off of it and get a boost, but beyond that there's not all that much competition here ]

[then i guess doodle does win, because even though he does lose quite a bit of speed by the final stretch as he's starting to tire a bit, it's not enough to lose him the headway he got at the beginning]

[ maybe a moment after doodle gets there, lucifel is picking his head up and gasping as he touches the sand, eyes squeezed shut - ]

Puhaah!

[looking at him in astonishment, gasping for air]

Did- I actually- win?

[maidenheaven]

[ rolling over onto his back, taking a few more deep breaths and looking up to the sky ]

. . . Saying it . . . like that, as . . . if you didn't go . . . ahead of me in the first place. . .

Well, yeah. You didn't think I wouldn't cheat, did you?

[maidenheaven]

I should have expected it, huh?

[avestan]

Oh, were you not? My bad.

[maidenheaven]

[ stre~tching out ]

I'm not complaining. A loss is still a loss.

[ with a pause, and he's rolling back onto his stomach ]

. . . Hey, I just thought of it right now, but maybe you should pick out two swimsuits? In case I've reverted to my male body by the time this game is over? Actually, we can just go back to our dorms like this, so I suppose we could just do that now. . .

Ah, right, that potion will be wearing out soon... I'll pick two of them, yeah.

[maidenheaven]

Probably?

[ with a pause, tilting his head curiously ]

Although, if you like, I can always ask for another one. It's surprisingly comfortable like this, so I don't mind.

[avestan]

Nah. As nice as that body is, I miss the real you.

[maidenheaven]

Even though you like chests so much. . .

[ leaning over to kiss his nose ]
