Pokemon: The Beach & Bay

Keep heading past the downtown area and you'll come to a sunny beach and the ocean! There's a stall where you can trade your uniform for a unit-appropriate swimsuit so you and your Pokemon can enjoy the sand and the sea together! There's a cart nearby that gives out lemonade and ice cream for free to help you beat the heat. You can also take advantage of the local ferry: although there's a massive sign that reads "Safari Bio-Dome, Coming Soon!" for now it's mostly good for sight-seeing all the marine Pokemon in the bay or catch-and-release fishing off the side.

[And she's back a few hours later, this time with Cobalt~! This girl really likes the beach.

[It's still just as beautiful, the sea sparkling just as brightly. Hikaru is pleased to be back, jumping from her shoulder and trotting toward the sea.]

So... here we are! Is there anything you'd like to do first, Cobalt-san? We could get a lemonade or something if you'd like. Or would you like to go for a swim?

[Hikaru appears in favor of the latter. He's already down by the surf, bluff-charging an incoming wave.]

[Deerling is sprinting across the beach, seemingly enjoying having a lot of space to run, and splashing at the edge of the water with Hikaru.]

Have you already been swimming?

Well, once... but that was this morning, so I'd be really happy to go again! Especially since it's with you, Cobalt-san.

Are you sure? Because we could also grab some ice cream or build a sand castle. Those would be really fun, too!

We could do all that and go swimming too, though...! I like swimming, so please don't worry about that, if that's something you'd like to try! Or... it looks like there's a ferry over there that does fishing trips?

Mm! That's what I did last time...! I know I'd never have thought to bring my swimwear with me today, so I was really glad to see it. It would have been such a shame to come to the beach on a day like today, and not be able to swim...

Oh, and they have inflatables, too...! We could get those as well.

Ah... I'll have to see if Deerling likes water. It seems like it's having a good time splashing, at least...?

He does...! I think most animals like water at least a little. Hikaru-chan certainly seemed to have fun when we were here before.

[Hmm... now she's wondering. Get same swimsuit as she had before, or pick a different one for variety's sake?

[She's still not at all sure about that sailor suit bikini, though, and she still doesn't want to wear something with a skirt (wouldn't that feel weird?), so... the same again it is. Though this time she thinks to get a pool float. It's shaped like a watermelon slice.]

Cobalt-san, look...! They have a pizza float!

We should get one of those for the pool.
