Heart Game: Talon
Was it this late when you stepped into the Game Tower...? Now the sky above is dotted with a few scarce stars, occasionally obscured by some light cloud cover drifting by. Most of the night sky has been washed out by the bright lights of the city which, by the way, is spread out far below the rooftop that characters find themselves on. There's a faint buzz on their phones. When checked, the screen shows a Game Notice:
Win Condition:
1. Locate the True Heart
Or
2. Leave a Lasting Mark
The skyscraper towers high above the streets, easily dwarfing any other building in sight. The city is some dozens of stories below, and the sound of the wind rushing by is louder than anything that can be heard from the streets. Occasionally the wail of a siren pierces the distance, but it's easier to spot the lights of an ambulance or police car zipping through the roads than it is to hear them. If you look closely enough, and for long enough, you might notice figures in the distance leaping between buildings, sometimes in pursuit of a siren or with an emergency vehicle trailing in the distance behind them.
The roof itself is expansive—the building must take up the better part of a city block, judging by the space available up here. A helipad (sans any helicopter) takes up the entirety of one side of the roof, complete with what looks like a freight elevator for moving things from the roof further into the building. The elevator itself has a keypad lock on it, but a staircase entrance beside it has no obvious lock in place.
The rest of the rooftop is empty save for a small, hooded figure perched atop one of the parapets along the edge of the roof, feet dangling over open air.
[ OOC NOTES:
1. Powers are on. THIS INCLUDES CANON POWER SETS.
2. Characters may keep any equipment they had on them when entering the heart, but there is a risk it will be taken away during the run. However all equipment taken will be returned when you exit the heart.
3. Significant changes/damage to the heart will reset each time someone new enters an area for the first time. For example, if Bob kills the sentry at the entrance of the heart, the sentry will respawn for Sally when she arrives. This way everyone can experience the different areas.
4. CAVEAT TO THE ABOVE: exceptions made for anyone specifically going through the heart with a partner(s), or anyone who requests to react to damage that's been done. The goal here is to allow everyone to have fun in the heart at the end of the day. ♥ ]

Re: The Batcave
That unfortunate side-kick uniform lasts at least one more generation before the design finally includes pants, but all of the uniforms look like they were re-designed over time to withstand more. Armor is incorporated more heavily, and there are occasionally very specific versions of a uniform featured. One of the later Robin suits features an underwater respirator, for example.
Most of the suits, however, have clearly seen better days. The second of the pixie boot suits in particular is bloodstained and ripped, and the domino mask that is meant to go with it has been torn in half completely.
Further down the line is the same suit worn by the Talon on the roof. It looks almost militant in design. It features combat boots that lace up to mid-calf, heavy kevlar shielding over the chest and abdomen. Even the fabric of the hood looks strange and heavy; clearly meant for more than just hiding someone's face. It too has seen better days, though it's not nearly as blood-stained as the older design is. ]

Re: The Batcave
The feeling will begin to fade as he heads for the computer instead, but slowly.
As he approaches the screens, one of the small monitors along the bottom of the display switches to show a top down view of the computer station itself—it looks like there are two people in the chair...? The camera swivels to focus in on Silver before there's a chance to figure out who they are. ]
Re: The Batcave
Ah, hey. Not trying to creep around or anything. Making myself known here...
Re: The Batcave
Who are you?
Re: The Batcave
Talon's volleyball friend from the idol show, Mr.Batman sir.
Re: The Batcave
It's just Batman, kid. How can I help you?
Re: The Batcave
Cold chance in hell, but considering we're IN hell.......can I drive that?
Re: The Batcave
A joyride?
[ Behind him, Talon pipes up ]
To where?
Re: The Batcave
[Peering at the screens to look for any "clowns"]
I wanted to check out the city, but apparently walking around wouldn't be very safe right now?
Re: The Batcave
Also his face looks...wrong. His lips don't match the movement of his jaw, and his eyes look strange and drooping, as if he's wearing a mask of someone else's face. The red staining around the edges of his face are also pretty concerning!
There isn't any audio, but he's clearly raving something at the monitor. ]
[ Batman frowns again. ]
A civilian taking the batmobile out alone is out of the question. If you insist on "sight-seeing", then you'll have to take Robin with you.
Re: The Batcave
[Eyes still on the screen...]
Is that one of the "clowns"?
Re: The Batcave
That is The Joker. He can hardly be called a clown, but he is the only one in Gotham.
Re: The Batcave
So he's a big threat, huh?

Re: The Batcave
You won't be seeking anything out with Robin around to keep an eye on you.
Re: The Batcave
Where is Robin then?
Re: The Batcave
I'm Robin.
Re: The Batcave
Want to get out of here and stretch your legs then?
