Heart Game: Talon
Was it this late when you stepped into the Game Tower...? Now the sky above is dotted with a few scarce stars, occasionally obscured by some light cloud cover drifting by. Most of the night sky has been washed out by the bright lights of the city which, by the way, is spread out far below the rooftop that characters find themselves on. There's a faint buzz on their phones. When checked, the screen shows a Game Notice:
Win Condition:
1. Locate the True Heart
Or
2. Leave a Lasting Mark
The skyscraper towers high above the streets, easily dwarfing any other building in sight. The city is some dozens of stories below, and the sound of the wind rushing by is louder than anything that can be heard from the streets. Occasionally the wail of a siren pierces the distance, but it's easier to spot the lights of an ambulance or police car zipping through the roads than it is to hear them. If you look closely enough, and for long enough, you might notice figures in the distance leaping between buildings, sometimes in pursuit of a siren or with an emergency vehicle trailing in the distance behind them.
The roof itself is expansive—the building must take up the better part of a city block, judging by the space available up here. A helipad (sans any helicopter) takes up the entirety of one side of the roof, complete with what looks like a freight elevator for moving things from the roof further into the building. The elevator itself has a keypad lock on it, but a staircase entrance beside it has no obvious lock in place.
The rest of the rooftop is empty save for a small, hooded figure perched atop one of the parapets along the edge of the roof, feet dangling over open air.
[ OOC NOTES:
1. Powers are on. THIS INCLUDES CANON POWER SETS.
2. Characters may keep any equipment they had on them when entering the heart, but there is a risk it will be taken away during the run. However all equipment taken will be returned when you exit the heart.
3. Significant changes/damage to the heart will reset each time someone new enters an area for the first time. For example, if Bob kills the sentry at the entrance of the heart, the sentry will respawn for Sally when she arrives. This way everyone can experience the different areas.
4. CAVEAT TO THE ABOVE: exceptions made for anyone specifically going through the heart with a partner(s), or anyone who requests to react to damage that's been done. The goal here is to allow everyone to have fun in the heart at the end of the day. ♥ ]

The Batcave
As for the lighting, the better portion of the cavern has been light up with high-tech industrial lighting and is outfitted with just about anything one could dream of. There's the life-sized T-Rex replica, the giant copper penny that rivals it in size, displays of various uniforms in glass cases… Several of those look worse for the wear than others.
There's a car bay with several iterations of batmobile parked beside each other, along with a number of bat and robin-themed motorcycles. Beside the bay is what looks like an open air locker room that leads to more private showers on one side, and on the other side are training mats and various pieces of gym equipment, includes balance bars and what looks like the components of a trapeze…?
On a section where the floor has been raised sits a large computer system that looks like it must have cost as much as several houses. The main screen and surrounding smaller ones all seem to show security feeds throughout the building and the rest of the city. Occasionally the images change from one view to another—is someone using the system now? It's impossible to see if anyone's sitting in the chair at the control panel from this angle. But does that really matter when there's so much to check out in here? ]

The Parlor
Instead, an elderly man stands at attention just to the right of the desk, hands clasped neatly behind his back. His hair is gray and rather heavily thinning up top, and he sports a thin mustache. In spite of his age his eyes are sharp, and he arches a curious brow as the door swings open. ]

The Bedroom
The further from the door you get, however, the more cave-like the room is. Carpet fades into soft dirt and then hard stone. The window across from the door looks as if it must be hewn from solid rock, as does the polished desk that's sitting beside it. There are a few items scattered across the stone desk—a simple dagger in a plain sheath, a sketchbook with a well-worn cover, an empty dish left behind from a meal, a pair of night vision goggles. Little animal figurines line the back of the desk, clearly a fond collection.
The bed straddles the line between plush carpet and hard stone, but at least all the bedding looks more than soft enough to sleep on. There's a bright red, full-face helmet sitting on the bedside table, and a rumpled black cloth something that's been shoved to one side to make room for a pair of escrima sticks. ]

The Hall
There are a few doors standing slightly ajar—a set of heavy oak double-doors that lead back into the parlor. A little further down the hall, on the right, is one door carved from rich mahogany, and on the left is another door made of dark chestnut. The hall continues on past these however, although the rest of the doors in it are shut tightly. ]

The Grounds
The wrought iron fence and the forest beyond it are a few hundred yards away, and it even from this distance it's clear that the gate has been chained shut. Perhaps you could just try to climb the gate solo, but maybe some of the people milling about the lawn could help? There's a young woman sunbathing by the rose-bushes, for example, or a weary looking old man meditating closer to the gate itself. ]

The Outpost
The encampment itself extends far into the distance on either side, but not so far that the end isn't visible. It's comprised of a strange mix of hastily thrown together tent-like structures and sturdy stone buildings that look as if they were lifted from an expensive villa and dropped into the middle of the forest. The entire outpost is surrounded by a high stone barrier topped with barbed wire—from here it looks like the only way in or out is past the guards. ]

City Streets
While most of the streets are brightly lit, even those seem...troubled. There's a woman shrieking for help while she struggles to yank her purse back from a scrawny guy who barely looks old enough for college, and further down the block is a jewelry heist in progress. People on the street are murmuring in dismay amongst themselves while a pair of masked men help themselves to the contents of a smashed out display case. In the distance, a few of the figures who've been swooping through the city streets are en route, but are they really going to get there in time? They're cutting it pretty close…
But that's just on the well-lit main street. The nearest cross street is an entirely different situation. One that...doesn't seem that bad? Sure, many of the street lights are broken or flickering at best, but there doesn't actually seem to be any activity at all on this street. It looks abandoned; even the citizens passing by are ignoring it completely. But stand there long enough, and you might just hear the echo of eerie laughter coming from somewhere down the street. ]

The Campfire
Eventually a tiny campsite comes into view, hard to spot even with the tiny campfire in the midst of it. There's a short lean-to made of pine branches and underbrush carefully woven together to form a mostly water-tight roof, and a spread of soft leaves with a child-sized sleeping bag laid out atop them. A stick with a fish skewered on it is still standing by the fire, just starting to brown nicely.
In spite of the clear signs of life, there doesn't seem to be anyone actually here. ]

The Study
A bay window on the right side of the room offers a built in bench for some extra seating, and a pair of bookcases to either side are filled with academic tomes for reading. The window itself overlooks a sprawling lawn bordered by a wrought-iron fence that separates it from a more foreboding looking forest.
And then there is the true focal point of the room: the bright red and pink cake that has been smashed against it is much more eye-catching. There's a smear of icing down the wall that ends where the cake's fallen to the floor, bits of chocolate and strawberry and half-burnt birthday candles smashed together in a pile. ]

Wild City
The living room is brightly lit in spite of the dark cavern outside. Warm sunlight spills in from the patio that would normally lead out into the hotel, but here it is just...a patio. The only real exit is back up the stairs to the Batcave. The only other notable difference from Wild City's actual dorms is the door to Talon's bedroom. It seems...blurry. Each time you look at it, it's made from a different material, or shaped slightly different, perhaps a different size...
No one in the dorm seems to notice the strangeness of the door though. Silver and Nychta are sprawled out on the couch; Nychta napping and Silver quietly flipping through a book. Animals which belong to other members of Wild City are scattered around either playing with toys or sprawled out for their own naps. A few of them glance up curiously at the newcomer, but they don't seem especially surprised to see someone here. ]
