The newspaper is otherwise actually fairly unhelpful, aside from something detailing the results of a recent attempt at revolt in a city in %COUNTRYNAME%: worker’s success at managing a nearby gold mine led to dreams of every man being a king - the revolutionaries may have been successful had it not been for a concurrent jailbreak and mass slaughter putting local authorities on alert, buying time for military intervention - the town was nearly levelled to the ground, with few survivors.

But you seem to remember - you survived, didn’t you?

[ the tentacles push at the stitches on her back. her 'wings' might be gone, but they're certainly not forgotten, and the four tentacles don't appreciate the home invasion. she cries out as they burst free, the wounds reopening and making her shudder as the pain sears through her body. closing her eyes she starts to laugh. ] ...did you like that, h- hah, I bet you did. I bet you all liked that. [ he grinds her teeth together and continues to try to dig her nails into her head. ]

D.Va!

[ducking the tentacles, trying to reach for the hand that King isn't grabbing]

D.Va, calm down! It's us!

...s- something's in my head. [ nearly chokes that out. she's trying to keep the hand on her head, like it'll split apart on it on if she's not actively holding it together. ]

[squeezes her hand tightly]

[ she returns the squeeze, though it's kind of weak. ]

[he doesn't pull back, though his expression does harden]

[he lets her pull away, but it doesn't stop him from sliding in close and touching her shoulder instead]
