[ if you've ever been in d.va's shop, then this is going to look awfully familiar, if not significantly more elaborate. entering finds one in a large, expansive room with fluorescent lighting and a single gigantic stainless steel table against the back wall similar to the ones found in the kitchen, complete with cabinets and drawers filled with assorted tools and various boxes of scrap material. ]
9 the floor is largely concrete and seems to be pre-distressed in a pattern that looks slightly like scales, but in the center is a raised platform with a rack that is configured to secure a car in place with the press of a button. ]
[ there's a generous set of pink-painted metal drawers with more tools and some basic-to-advanced repair supplies provided, and near the entryway, a couple of large truck bench seats have been converted into couches where visitors can relax and watch the repairs, or, if they're not interested in the technical details, watch a movie on the wall-mounted monitor screens. ]

[ if you continue along you'll notice that things are starting to deteriorate. the, once, vibrant colors are all growing significantly more dull, there are tens of hundreds of cracks splitting the wall, and with each and every step taken the floor becomes less stable... until eventually it's just not there anymore. ]
[ but the hall continues, and there IS a lone pedestal on the other side though. ]
[ if you take the stairs you'll find yourself in the hall of fame, a room filled with all of the artillery used to GOā FIGHTā WIN. a banner hangs in the center of the room, and right behind it sit five mechs. each has a complimentary colored spotlight on it and each has a plaque with its name and its pilot. ]
[ all of them look like they have literally been through hell, having taken a thorough beat down, but that's not to say that they hadn't also gotten to chance to deal it back double. they may no longer be in commission, but it sure is neat to see a piece of history, huh! ]
[ if you continue to poke around you'll find her classic⢠heart weapon rotating in a glass display case. ooh. aah. a table sitting next to that contains a spearhook, a colt revolver, a katana, a pair of butterfly knives, a switchblade, a couple of flashbangs, a couple of grenades, and a whip. pretty much all of the stuff she's bought for herself, sans the cannon. ]
[ as you near this part of the city traffic gets a little bit lighter. and by a little bit lighter i mean a lot lighter. in fact, it all but disperses, making this area eerily quiet. some sparking interrupts that, and if you do a little investigating you'll come across a number of busted signs littering the front of one particular alley. stick around long enough for one ( or more ) of them to flash and you'll be able to see an excess of gangly roots pouring out of some distant, dark void. brambles have spread up the sides of the nearby buildings like wildfire, strangling them, as otherworldly things, alerted to your presence, watch you carefully. ]

[ the smol tentacles can ( and will ) attack the moment someone or something steps into their alley. however! as long as you keep moving you cannot be hurt. roll to get through. if you fail, then they snare you, and you have another turn to make a save, but this time with a -1 modifier. if you fail again, then you take 1 damage. ]
[ the forest falls dead silent, and the only thing to be heard is your own footfalls should you continue forward. thanks to all the bioluminescent plant-life it's not too difficult to navigate, and besides tripping over the occasional root or getting smacked by the occasional branch you eventually manage to find your way to the center to discover this completely. normal. tree. ]
[ on closer inspection itās easy to see that itās alive; the blue, pink, and purple gems all pulsing with each and every breath it takes. if you get too close the gnarled roots will creep and crawl closer, lashing out at you in an attempt to dissuade you. ]
[ buuuut they really can't do much to keep you from getting any closer, besides, of course, the occasional smack, so if you've got the health to spare, or you just don't care, then you'll have no trouble getting up closer & personal with the gems. if you stare into one of them long enough it's possible to see snippets of a memory involving you and d.va. something as mundane as a casual conversation to something as intimate as a sexual encounter. anything and everything is here, though the majority do seem to be ~*~fun~*~ stuff, like most notably... talking about love with shrike, teaching & riding motorcycles with haru, swinging around tokyo-f & tagging buildings with nero, playing games & watching movies with hurricane, doing sick stunts with nemesis, and sparring with gladio... and, no, he's not wearing a shirt in the gem. ]
[ on even closer inspection, when the gems aren't distracting you, it'll be possible to see a number of them are lousy with cracks and on the verge of shattering. ]
[ the hotel looms over the city, casting its shadow on everything within reach. it also seems to be the only building that's completely free of plant life, what with the flora stopping abruptly at its edge, as if someone or something is keeping it at bay. or, perhaps, it's just because its set so far back, that it simply can't flourish. who knows and who cares! there are a couple of lights on towards the top, but that's it, leaving the rest of the building completely dark and relatively unwelcoming. ]
[ d.va is standing outside of it looking like she used to... except there is, in fact, a gaping hold in her chest and a puddle of pink blood at her feet. ]
[ and just as nemesis is about to make d.va hole again the world, itself, decides to retaliate. she might have decided its overrated, but it's not about to become chopped liver. ]
[ the ground shudders, inevitably breaking apart and jeopardizing the foundation of what seems to be the city, itself. the hotel to her back dips to the left as the few lights that had been on flicker uselessly. a series of monstrous and twisted brambles burst forth and snare d.va immediately. they burrow into her, skin stretching and splitting as pink blood trickles out from each and every lesion. slithering deeper, they finally reach her hollow chest cavity and knot, swelling until dozen of thorns skewer her from the inside out. her scream is clipped as she drops to her knees and doubles over, body contorting as she starts to undergo her corrupted transformation. emphasis on corrupted. ]
[ something appears overhead and starts flashing wildly as some music starts up. ]
Battle Mechanics! ( I shamelessly stole this from the Impocalypse Event; Mods ilu. ) Look here for an example!
š® This is a turn-based fight. PCs will take their turn, the boss will react, and then the boss will take their turn. Players will react and take their turn, and so on and so forth.
š® You may take one action per turn, in addition to a single dodge. You can use your actions to attack a target, use an ability/boon, make a second dodge, or run like hell. An Aibou and a Personal Assistant can make their own action(+dodge) separate from their users.
š® With every action/attack/blow/dodge/whatever .roll 1d6. This dice determines whether the aforementioned succeeds or fails, with 1-3 as fail and 4-6 as success. If you're attacking ( and you already rolled successfully ) then roll a second dice to determine how much damage you'll inflict on the boss. Lots of abilities and weapons use different dice, so if you're confused, then just ask me ā„. Anyway! please include both numbers with your comment on your turn.
š® GREEN TEXT can be dodged, but RED TEXT is guaranteed damage.
[ as soon as nemesis shoves her heart into place the boss collapses, its grotesque and distorted form liquefying into a lisa frank⢠hot mess. d.va, now 'herself' again, is laying in the goopy mess. that hasn't stopped the world around everybody from continues to crumble though, and it's as if the very fabric of this reality has been jeopardized. ]
[ she groans, smothering a hand into her face to muffle the sound as she sits up. ] ā¦thanks for that. [ ... ] Ew! [ she reels back from her own hand in disgust to frown at the gore. she sets a hand to her chest and smiles, because it's been too long since she's been whole, and, ngl, it feels real nice. ]
[ but, oh, can't forget about getting the fuck out of dodge, huh! ] We can celebrate later, let's get out of here!
[ all around them the set pieces start breaking apart, crumbling and tumbling down onto the remnants of the of 림볓, destroying it further. it soon becomes clear that behind the āidealā worldās backdrop is something else⦠another, much brighter and more lively city ā busan! since d.va doesn't take memories it's probably not recognizable, but there *are* a couple of context clues... like all of the korean~! ]
[ all the people here ( and more ) are chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool... with d.va at the center, corruptions all still there, but that makes it that much easier to cling to as many of them as humanly possible, WHICH SHE DOES. haru is showing gladio the finer points of ddr. shrike and hurricane are battling it out in a futuristic racing game. nero is doing his best not to destroy skeeball with each and every throw. and nemesis is cleaning out the prize shop with her bunches & bunches of tickets. ]
[ but even thought that world isnāt nearly as busted it, too, starts losing its stability, but perhaps thatās because youāre finally starting to wake up. ]
sad bird in snow: I have some informationā sad bird in snow: DVa claims that her associates/friends here were previously on Imeeji and elected to not return after dying sad bird in snow: She says Jae was on LiliS and Dae-yun was on ZRAEL sad bird in snow: I'm trying to prod at it to see if there's holes in the story I can expose, since they certainly haven't actually been on the show, but maybe it's possible to make her realize it's not real by some way related to that?
Nemesis!: j is assistnat in the office tho? Nemesis!: she said she got messed up during the show tho Nemesis!: so this new dude was the one what killed us with snakes Nemesis!: and also also took over the show ?

go go power rangers.
Primrose. Henshin. Allows the user to transform to their sentai/rider form, giving them an additional +10 health. But, not only that, she can summon her companion once, and only once, to perform a devastating psy attack for 1d16 damage.
Nero. Living Forge. Grants the user the ability to generate almost any hand held weapon, so bows, firearms, maces, swords, and whips are all kocher. However, if a bow or a gun is generated, then it will only ever come with a single bolt/bullet, so make it count.
Nemesis. Stability. Grants the user the ability to not lose their footing if knocked over. In addition, the user is also now capable of tearing up portions of the ground to create temporary floating platforms, from which they can do cool stunts from. As soon as the platform is touched it'll crumble, so you better keep on keeping on.
Hurricane. Heroes Never Die. Grants the user the ability to remove their heart and put it into another vessel, like a lich, except that vessel has been decided for you and it's currently on your person. You cannot die in battle, but you get the feeling if you crush the small gem hanging around your neck you'll awaken your true power.
***If, during battle, the gem is crushed, then Hurricane will find himself in his power suit for the remainder, and each attack he makes does double the damage.
Gladio. Quick as a Wink. Allows the user to move up to 1ĶĢĢĶ̰ĶĢ Ģ2ĢĢĢĢĢĶ©Ģ3ĶĢĶĢͫͣĶĢĢ®ĢĢŗĢ Ģ¦4ĢĢĢĢĶ«Ķ̺̼Ķ5ĶĢĶĶ©Ķ̼̼ĶĢĶ times as fast as a human can at will, giving the user the ability to "vibrate" in such a way as to pass through certain solid matter or manipulate their speed force energy into channeled lightning bolts. ...going upstairs.
[ there's La Princesse Sereine | CASINO,
Beast | D.MON,
Tokki | D.VA,
Singijeon | KING,
& Mastermind | OVERLORD.

the forest.

...the center, finally (1/2).
[ on closer inspection itās easy to see that itās alive; the blue, pink, and purple gems all pulsing with each and every breath it takes. if you get too close the gnarled roots will creep and crawl closer, lashing out at you in an attempt to dissuade you. ]
(2/2)
[ on even closer inspection, when the gems aren't distracting you, it'll be possible to see a number of them are lousy with cracks and on the verge of shattering. ]

the hotel.
You shouldn't have gone in there.

the confrontation.
Sponsored by Mountain DewĀ® & DoritosĀ®; evry1 meet @ hotl frnt asap
BOSS BATTLE.
( I shamelessly stole this from the Impocalypse Event; Mods ilu. )
Look here for an example!
š® This is a turn-based fight.
Anyway! please include both numbers with your comment on your turn.
š® GREEN TEXT can be dodged, but RED TEXT is guaranteed damage.

the aftermath and the... end...???
] We can celebrate later, let's get out of here!

ģ¶ķķ©ėė¤!!!
[ hooray, you did it,
NEW GAME+ START. ]

sad bird in snow: DVa claims that her associates/friends here were previously on Imeeji and elected to not return after dying
sad bird in snow: She says Jae was on LiliS and Dae-yun was on ZRAEL
sad bird in snow: I'm trying to prod at it to see if there's holes in the story I can expose, since they certainly haven't actually been on the show, but maybe it's possible to make her realize it's not real by some way related to that?
Re: another group text
