Revenants space is sparsely populated, but fortunately there’s enough War going on around everywhere that there’s plenty of refugees! It’s probably best to take them, but perhaps there should be some sort of screening process? After all, revenants are currently at war themselves, and with all this disease going around it may not be safe…

But given how poor the state of the galaxy at large is, you do need these people to make sure things keep running and battles keep being fought and won. So...what is your proposal, for at least your station?

We are taking the refugees that are not sick. All able bodied, healthy people welcome. Morality negotiable!

It's so, so cold. Absinthe will find themselves unable to speak coherently, mumbling and shivering constantly, as they fumble in pain at trying to complete the simplest of tasks. They now have SPACE HYPOTHERMIA.

There has been an outbreak of Phage on several planets and as a result of the war, Revenants are hardly able to combat it effectively. This Phage spreads quickly, and horribly mutates its victims into hateful monstrosities bent on the consumption of all organic life.

It has spread to your station, but you have the chance to initiate quarantine protocols - or just outright eliminate those suspected to have the Phage. The former option will cost 30 prosperity, and the latter 15 Population and 15 Sustainability.

Or perhaps you have another, better option? After all, fixing the problem here doesn’t fix it everywhere else.

You could also do nothing. (This is not advised.)

BARiTONES has decided that this asteroid is not where the heart is and are leaving. Anyone with the plague is being left behind. So it is quarantine as well as a slow elimination.

But the sick get an asteroid all to themselves. Congratulations!

A tax collector docks at your station. You are under arrest for tax evasion. What do you do?

He is welcomed wholeheartedly, infected with the Phage, quarantined and tied up.

Then we take his ship and all able bodied people and become space pirates. If possible our first act of space piracy would be to commandeer another ship and send the tax collector back to the space government to infect everyone. You know, dreaming the dream.

EVENT 5

Your bravery/ingenuity/whatever has caught the notice of your employers! You have been offered a position as ASTEROID MANAGER.

. . . Actually, it's just that everyone else in the mines have quit and war is so heavy in this area they're really not looking to stay in these lands. That means you're going to effectively be the owner of this asteroid, but you're also super liable to die.

Do you accept? (If you don't, you'll be fired anyway, so you'll have to find a different job.)
