[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside, all of you in your sleepwear, with a message on your phone.

Good morning, newly departed guest stars! You've got new co-stars to meet, a new dorm to explore, and the television in the main room with the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to them, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color as well as a mythological creature (if that is available to you—some of you will have that option grayed out). Or assign them to each other, really, no one's stopping you.

Once you've chosen your color and creature (or, once it's chosen for you), your closets will unlock with 3 sets of traditional Japanese clothing fitted exactly to your size. Additionally, upon choosing your creature, you might find yourself suddenly with some new appendages (check Player Notes).

Also, the front door is currently locked. It looks like you actually have no choice but to get to know each other for an hour or two before those open up. ]

[Oh Hiroto isn't going to like this at all. That said, he is also not going to be overly cruel to someone, certainly not just for being too cheerful and friendly.]

Earned...ah. There must be so many people trying to cozy up to you if you run 100 kingdoms.

...It's also gotta be so much paperwork all the time. Don't envy that part at all.

There are half as many as are trying to kill me, at most. I have not conquered them yet.

Sounds like a lot of people to win over... So, I guess when we win this, you'll be able to take care of them all?

Once this is over, I will be 'taking care' of everyone, correct.

I would be quite a terrible ruler, but I will only have to be there for a short time. And then...

.... It is what is right and just. For all of the lives I have taken, for all of the wrongs I have done, I should be removed from the world, but not until I leave the world a better place.

[Hope it goes well??? He is talking about his possible torment and definite death. He's not sure how that can "go well".]

[He feels like Persephone may have said it at some point. Maybe everyone has said it at some point, but he doesn't remember a specific time he was told that the world would be better without him in it. And he believes it himself, anyway.]

I do not intend to return to the land of the living once I am gone. With any luck, I will be consigned to oblivion.

[What a weird thing to say. He 'has somewhere to go'? Somewhere to go after he dies? He isn't sure he wants somewhere to go, but he supposes if he cannot simply cease to exist...]
