[ You find yourself in your respective unit's zone, with a mini-map on your phone, as well as your objectives:


Kill as many competitors as you can.
Destroy zones by breaking their statues.
Not enough action = We start killing you :)

Underneath the objectives is the number of revivals you have left, as well as whatever miscellaneous details about scoring points—killing a unitmate results in negative points, five units will be healed at most, etc.

The starting horn sounds. Let the games begin. ]

You're accosted by a wandering salesman. Buy, buy, buy! You should really buy this item! You need to buy this item! You want to buy this item! Don't you!?

Go to an adjacent zone (or the sewers if one is not available) and lose 1 Endurance, or roll Adaptability:
8+: Gain an item of your choice.
4-7: Gain a random item, but lose 2 points in any given stat.
0-3: Lose 2 points in any given stat. Receive nothing.

[Adaptability 7. Well, at least he gains something for his loss. Not sure whether or not it's worth it yet, but it could be worse he supposes.]

Axe (Wood)
When equipped, yelling "TIMBER" while attacking adds 2 dice to Melee attack rolls. If your attack does more than 10 damage (after damage reduction), the target falls over and is unable to perform an attack on their next turn though they may still perform any other action.

O-Oh. Forgive me, it's not that I thought--I just know that your unit prefers to play hard, so... I wouldn't blame you, of course, but I want to put off dying as much as I can. I am very unlikely to win this, after all, and I'm sure the punishment will be unpleasant enough as it is.

... Alright. And, um... I've actually met her before. She used to be on Baritones, though... Adios Fatherfucker, back then. I think we actually kind of got along! She asked me to make something for her too, but that was right before she was transferred.
