[ by the time Man☆Eater has walked his three paces and turned around, he's already on the move, first darting to the side and then closing the distance between them in a zigzag, doing his best not to remain a stationery target ]

[His eyes follow his movements left and right, waiting for him to get into point blank range before firing. This is his opening move, so it better be a fucking good one.

Roll: 4 5 6 passes precision. 8 damage if not dodged]

[ with an agility roll of 1 2 3 and the power of being so chuuni you can sense the trajectory of ~*killing intent*~, he makes a sudden swerve just before Intensity pulls the trigger, then charges straight toward him before (hopefully) he can fire again and attempts a sweeping kick to knock him off his feet with a strength roll of 2 3 4. ]

[Wow, all that training must have paid off because this noodle managed to make his strength roll with a roll of 1 1 2, blocking the attack for a damage of 2.

And since it takes a turn to reload the gun, Intensity immediately tries to pistol whip Man☆Eater instead! (Roll: 2 5 6). That ... that is not as successful. Only one miracle per turn here, folks]

[ when the attempt at a leg sweep fails, a look of genuine surprise crosses his face, which quickly turns into a thrilled grin. nice.

he would move fast to block the pistol whip attempt next, except—inexplicably, the gun is suddenly gone and he appears to have been hit in the face with a soft volleyball instead? which is not really damage-inducing but sure is pretty staggering for completely different reasons. ]

[With a disgruntled huff, Intensity tosses the volleyball over his shoulder only for Blue Eyes to catch it in her jaws and puncture it. The unfortunate volleyball makes a sad annoying deflating balloon sound as it dies.

[Meanwhile, here lies Intensity with STR 2 and AGI 5 and no items to use his stupidly high precision and strategy with.

Trying to dodge behind a tree to get some distance between himself and Man☆Eater]

[ instead of chasing him down directly, Man☆Eater runs forward and propels himself up onto the limb of one of the neighboring trees, jumping up higher and higher through the branches until he's far enough up to get a clear view of Intensity from where he is.

frankly, Intensity losing his gun before Man☆Eater had the chance to disarm him himself feels pretty unsatisfying. he could just chalk it up to luck being on side and continue the fight with the advantage, but...

nah. ]

[ and as soon as the name leaves Man☆Eater's mouth, for a fleeting moment, Intensity is enveloped in a dark glow that looks a bit like black fire. as it subsides, Intensity will feel invigorated, like he's in the best shape he's ever been.

Harder They Fall, +2 modifier to all stats, including HP. ]

He flinches as if expecting an attack, but no. No. This is definitely quite the opposite. And Intensity would be lying if it didn't feel damn good to be power boosted by your smug fight date because some mean ol' volleyball took away all your toys]

[Intensity is not really waiting for an answer though as Blue Eyes rams the tree with it's massive head (roll: 1 1 2). There's a sickening crack as the trunk starts to lose some of its sturdiness]

[ Blue Eyes hadn't made a move so far in the fight, so her sudden entry to the fray catches him off-guard—he makes a surprised sound as he comes dangerously close to pitching forward out of the tree, but he catches himself with Verticality before he can actually fall. ]

Gyahaha... What, getting lonely? Try and catch me, then!

[ he steadies himself as best he can while the tree is threatening to come down altogether, before leaping forward of his own accord and attempting to drop kick Intensity from a stupid height (roll: 4 5 6 ), his aim adjusted by Verticality where necessary—a hefty 6 damage if Intensity doesn't get out of the way. ]

[FUCK YEAH! Now he can make agility rolls (roll: 2 2 3) - negates to 3 points as he's clipped while rolling to the side.]

Maybe I will!

[He's back on his feet swiftly, pouncing to tackle Man☆Eater, but no. Not even the buff can save his shitty STR stat. (roll: 2 3 6)]

[ An extra problem when your opponent is practically a living tank. He stands his ground, and instead of going down with that attack, he grabs Intensity mid-tackle attempt and bodily slams him into the tree next to them (str roll: 4 4 6), another potential 6 damage. ]

[But what about a counter counter tackle? Bless, Cobalt, really. (agi roll: 2 2 4 and agi roll: 1 2 4). He twists his body in an attempt to throw Man☆Eater against the tree instead.

For math's sake, that's -2 hp to Intensity and potential 4 to Man☆Eater]

[ he's impressed, really—this fight is turning out to be full of surprises, not just of the volleyball variety. unfortunately for Intensity, Verticality is very good at softening any attack that sends him through the air, and a critical success (agi roll: 1 1 1) means he slows his momentum just enough that he can twist around midair, push off against the trunk with his feet, and try to come back with a kick aimed at Intensity's gut (str roll: 1 1 5) for 5 potential damage. ]

[He is a good boy who studies hard when he finally decides to give a fuck about something.

Man☆Eater clips him in the side with the edge of his foot (agi roll: 1 4 4 Current HP: 9) but he sidesteps the majority of it.

And time to make this a real fight as Blue Eyes pounces in to attack Man☆Eater with a tail whip (str roll: 3 4 4) for a potential 4 damage]

[ somehow he keeps forgetting this is technically a 2v1; he just barely manages to duck underneath that attack (agi roll: 4 5 6 current HP: still 15?), rolling forward over the ground and then back onto his feet in an attempt to put a little distance between himself and this 8x8 robot dragon, though unfortunately puts more distance between him and Intensity, too. ]
