THE URBAN JUMBLE

A city with an old world European feel, it's more strange than threatening. Three cities are jumbled into one here-- a city for giants, a city for people, and a miniature city. The minature city exists in narrow alleyways and miniature furniture, where a human may be able to stick an arm in to reach inside, but not follow. The giant city towers above the other two, with steps like walls that might give you a good vantage point, but you'll have to hoist yourself up there to begin with...




Mechanics
To climb up walls in areas that are meant for people larger than you, make a strength check, unless you have also been enlarged-- then there is no need to roll.

If you shrink, you may enter alleyways meant for people smaller than you. Roll agility-- if you roll successfully, you may escape into the small zone. If you roll poorly, you are still in reach to people outside.

Nya knows this one isn't one t hey can talk their way out of, so... he gets off of Loki's back, squaring himself up so he can look at their opponents.]

[Wow, yeah, zero to Henshin in like .5 seconds here. The Heart Weapons are coming out.]

[ God verticality is Great. She zooms in from the side and dropkicks Loki offscreen (by which I mean a distance that it's just separate enough from the others), landing and stalking towards him with squared, tense shoulders and her axe in hand. ]

Surprise. It's my turn now.

i'm going to say he gets kicked down some alleyway so he can't just circle his way around her, because he's scrambling to his feet as soon as he can. looking half bewildered, half frustrated as hell-- ]

Shit-- [ looking around, he. tries to find some way to get back to the others but, there's... the walls, but she'll likely attack him if he tries that now. ]

Nya vs. Hurricane

[Nya has erased any trace of emotion from his face as he looks at Hurricane. He hates this but it's what will be done. It's what he earned, so...

He spills the grease ahead of him, then holds the knife out to the side.]

You'll have to make me.

[That's all the invitation he needs. ]

[His Heart Weapons are two katars - long and slender, a sleek, sci-fi aesthetic black. He charges right the hell in - makes that precision roll handily - and comes up slashing: 3+3, 5 (+5 damage). The Heart Weapon is sharper than it's ever been for anyone, and he is way past pulling punches.]

[Well, he HAD invited him. Thank goodness for the boost to his health from his extra arms, but as he tries to get out of the way he just isn't ready for it, and the katars gouge him viciously, tearing at Nya's body and managing to rip two of the doll arms off of his sides, as well as tearing through his torso.

He's falls back against the nearest large structure, coughing up blood and shuddering... and then healing himself. He is still down two arms, the wreckage of which remain on the ground, unusable.

His fingers tighten around the grip of his knife as he grits his teeth and stands back up, brushing himself off and attempting to slash at Hurricane with his knife. With 4 4 6, he fails absolutely miserably.]

[ strategics roll (2+2, effectiveness of 2 but frankly this probably doesn't do any damage) to loop his belt around her axe arm and pull her charge off course, pivoting as he reels her in so their backs collide. the sound of the safety on the gun she dropped along the way clicks off. ]

(2/4/5 passes for strength while 1/4/4 (barely) passes strategics but skulls are hard)]

Ow...

[The initial aim was to gracefully untwirl from the belt, but instead it's more of a stagger through her daze to attempt to face him and get her axe free]

[ -1hp, skulls are very hard. tries to lash at her face with the belt as he unwinds it off her arm again but flunks that precision roll fabulously in the midst of his head ringing, so instead it just kind of flaps off as he also stumbles away to try and get some distance again ]

She shakes it off(?), or just sucks it up enough to charge at him again, slashing with the axe down his front from shoulder to hip... 1/4/6 makes the strength check for 9 damage...he might want to dodge]

[ grits his teeth and does not dodge. instead he uses In Solidarity to copy the same hit back onto her, so now we're just fountaining blood at each other as he lifts the rifle and shoots point-blank at her face for 7 damage ]

[As soon as Nya's done breathing, Hurricane take off in the last direction he saw Nemesis. He's bleeding from the scar on his face, and his neck. His chest is bloody, and especially his right leg; the limp is pretty awful.]

Nem?! Requiem?!

[As they pass Phoenix huddled over a slumped figure on the ground, they notice a different one staggering away from the pair. While their outfits are equally red at this point, it's eventually apparent that the standing one is Nemesis, still dragging along a hecklephone]
