[As they pass Phoenix huddled over a slumped figure on the ground, they notice a different one staggering away from the pair. While their outfits are equally red at this point, it's eventually apparent that the standing one is Nemesis, still dragging along a hecklephone]

gently setting Hurricane down and circling around her at arm's length, hoverhandsing a bit, just in case-- she looks so bad... ]

Oh my god, dude - are you -

[Touches her shoulder, how is she even still up??]

[Turns towards their voices but doesn't track to any faces. Which is probably for the best, since she was definitely shot in the face, and what isn't missing is bruised and swollen. Might wanna find those sunglasses everyone else'd been carrying around... There's also a fresh gash down her chest almost from shoulder to hip that's leaking blood, but not half as much as you'd expect given the size of the wound]

[her voice is hoarse, but doesn't waver]

[Takes her by the elbow and helps to ease her down.]

[ ugghhh.... comes a little closer and gently touches the cheek that isn't nearly obliterated, checking those wounds carefully. ...honestly she feels a little ill... she can't really imagine how much this must hurt. ]

[Adrenaline is a hell of a drug. Once it wears off will be unpleasant, but that's a problem for future!Nemesis. As it is, the wounds seem to be healing...slowly.]

[ trying to be a little lighter in tone, just gently investigating her other wounds to make sure she's not actively bleeding out... she relents once Hurricane tries to get her to sit, though, using verticality to help if it seems like she's having any trouble.
