HEART GAME: REQUIEM (run 1)

You awaken in the ☆ZRAEL dorm common room. It’s dark. Darker than usual, and the reason why is immediately apparent: the lamps are all extinguished, the stars have disappeared, and the moon has shifted to new. The ocean below the glass panes of the floor is silent and still. Everything feels cold and unmoving, not unlike a painting.

He seems a little uneasy, but takes one of the darker paths-- pauses when he finds some of those pearls-- and continues, following them.

"Well... why does it matter?"

I guess you could say it's an evolutionary thing? Humans are social creatures, so it's natural to prefer seeing people who are happy. 'Cause people work together better when they're happy.

The pearl trail ends about there, though, and he pauses to look around the trees.

"Shouldn't be too far from here."

Hurricane waits anxiously for a moment, silent.

There's a very slight rustle as someone peers at you from around a tree not far off, watching placidly.

It's... hard to tell if it works, because while she steps out from behind the tree, smiling with a vague sort of expression, she doesn't otherwise move.

But it seems the charm didn't work, because she closes the gap between you, sharp teeth bared and grinning.

Hurricane cringes, staff at the ready. "--Dude, just get her!"
