Mori's heart

All at once a rainbow of bright lights feels as if it is bursting through you. It is an intense experience, but not an unpleasant one. As the colours burn through your skin, and lighting begins to spark through your veins, you feel stronger, you could take on the world right now.

Faintly in the distance, beyond the iridescent light show that overwhelms your vision, you can just about make out some silhouettes, but they’re too blurred, too indistinct and too far to tell anything about them. You can’t see them, but you know they’re welcoming you. You’re wanted here, you’re needed here, and the light is guiding you where you’re meant to go.

Both Mori's turn to look at him. When the HSS Mori turns you can see he has a gun in his hands, which he sets down on a nearby table and rushes over.

"CB-kun! You're here, wow!"

The middle school Mori flusters, alarmed. "O-Oi, wait a second!"

[GOES TO JUMP INTO HIS ARMS I GUESS. DISTRACTIONS]

I'm here! And so is your baaaaby self. Hiya! Get over here! So what's up?

"Oh, we're just doing some clean up, hi! I had no idea you were even here or we would have finished this earlier."

HSS Mori sweeps C up into his arms and spins him round while the baby one shrinks back with a small "H-Hello."

[CHEEK SMOOSH]

Clean up? Sounds hard and boring! But apparently I'm supposed to be here to help soooo. . .

How about we all have some fun instead!

HSS Mori looks DELIGHTED. "Sure! I'd love to--"

But before he can finish his sentence the smaller one grabs him by the ear. "That's not right! We have to keep things in order."

[raising an eyebrow]

Huuuh? What needs to be in order? Is it more important than entertaining me?

HSS one looks pleadingly at the other. "Of course not - what are we for if not to play with our friends?"

The little one looks panicked, and put on the spot, clenching his hands to his chest. "I'm not - I-I'm not saying, that's not important, but, but we have things to do - I, I don't think, this is okay."

[sliding out of HSS Mori's arms to bounce over to middle school Izuku]

Hmmm, so is this where Mori-chan gets his responsible side from? [a snicker]

Okay, how about this--I'll help you do the thing, and then you can stop all this boring arguing and pay attention to me.

The middle schooler steps back, startled when C bounds over, and looks nervous to have C focusing on him.

"That's, um, i-it's not something we should trouble you with though..."

Nonsense! I'm trouble as is, anyway. Besiiiiides. . .

[gonna go over!! to that table!!]

I don't really like playing with things like this. So what are we doing? Getting rid of it?

HSS Mori comes over and slings an arm around C's shoulder.

"Getting rid of it is way too harsh. We should really just change it."

Middle school Mori rushes in front of both of them. "And, I'm saying, that we should just put it back and leave it alone."

[raising an eyebrow at both, but looking to HSS!Mori]

What were you gonna do with it?

HSS Mori points to the door with the golden spiral. "I wanted to put it in there instead."

[looks to the door]

What's in there?

"That's for good stuff."

[TILTS. HIS HEAD.]

Ooooh? And why is this good? What did I miss?

"It's not a good thing at all!" Little Mori cries.

HSS Mori sighs. "Not right now, but we can change it, can't we? Why do we have to leave it as something bad?"

"What would we even change it to?!"

[loooooks between them as they argue]

he tries to steal the gun

and leave a pack of stickers. just gonna try to hide it under his cape]

You touch the gun and feel immediate frustration, a bitter taste spreads over your tongue. You want to hate this gun, to throw it away, it's done nothing but cause pain - but that's too harsh. You can't bring yourself to do it, you feel unreasonable and unfair for thinking such a thing. Is this gun really so bad?

That doubt wars with the disdain, but as it is, you don't think you can accept it.

The stickers are placed on the table while the other two continue to argue.

just;; just gonna shimmy on toward a door]

--booooring. I'm gonna go check out some rooms on my own, okay? When you guys stop arguing about that stupid thing, then we can play.

They both turn to look at you, "Eh?"

The smaller one notices the gun is gone first, and turns to race towards him, looking panicked, "CB-kun no!"

[GOTTA DESTROY THE GUN!!!!11]

Don't worry, I know what I'm doing!

[SLIPS INTO.............THE SILVER HANDCUFFS ROOM]

Through this doorway you enter one of the hallways of a large, fancy building. The walls are covered in sprawling artwork, of varying skill levels. Pictures of cats, bats, volleyballs and rabbits running around with each other cover the walls. Paint cans and spray sit cluttered in the corner. There's a checkered pattern running along the top of the walls as a border, switching in gradients between white and black, white and blue, white and gold, white and silver, and white and green with black squares.

You feel a sense of belonging in this cluttered space, the entire place looks and feels soft. Comfy couches and pillows line the rooms, cuddly plush toys sit in piles alongside furby monstrosities and toy cars. There's a giant glass of water big enough to be it's own well in one of the corners, a set of fake glasses on a table, a box of snow, and so it goes on, wherever you look something litters the halls.

In one of the halls a volleyball net has been set up, alongside a soccer pitch, a large hamster wheel and a picnic blanket covered in treats. There's a room for sparring as well, decorated with motivational posters, and a prop room full of tricks with a stack of chairs and desks piled high, with a cute bat themed backpack in the corner.

[IMMEDIATELY LEAVES]

You walk right into both the Mori's outside tackling you.

"Gotcha!" HSS Mori cries, while middle school Mori searches through your pockets for the gun.
