Castle Game: Taisho Roman Revolution

[Suddenly, you hear the wailing of a horn. Outside, tension is turning to panic. You can't see anything, but you can hear people gathering up their things, sobbing in fear or speaking in harsh whispers. A lone voice calls from the distance:

The enemy approaches!

Upon the map, an unfamiliar geography appears -- several small nations, clustered together. Outside of them, an endless sea of enemy forces, identified only by a symbol of a cracked skull. Each of the small nations is marked with a flag in one unit's colour, and a tiny model of a castle.

You are at war. How will you protect your people and yourself?

So this is similar to the other game except instead of balloons it's bundles of material that we can steal or gift?

Our current number is zero. The option for gifting is currently out of reach. We have nothing to give. Our options are: we may do nothing and die for it, or steal.

[ He remains quiet at that, thinking it over. He doesn't think stealing is honorable, but he doesn't want any of them to die either. This is going to be hard on his morals. What's worth more? Stealing to survive and make sure they get through this? Or keeping his honor? ]

My honor isn't as valuable to me as the rest of you are. So I'll agree with stealing if we have to.

We require ten levels to win. Relying on the kindness of strangers has seldom worked for us in the past.

There is little point in speculating the horrors in store for us. For now, this is the situation, and we must choose our next course of action.

What are your thoughts thus far? Do you think we have the ability to play gently on our first move? Or...

I think it is risky. We are not well-liked enough to depend on gifts, and the number to win is out of reach should we not be gifted and we also refrain from stealing. Our options are few.

I did not harm myself. I did harm to others, and in doing so spared others from having to do the same.
