Castle Game: Taisho Roman Revolution

[Suddenly, you hear the wailing of a horn. Outside, tension is turning to panic. You can't see anything, but you can hear people gathering up their things, sobbing in fear or speaking in harsh whispers. A lone voice calls from the distance:

The enemy approaches!

Upon the map, an unfamiliar geography appears -- several small nations, clustered together. Outside of them, an endless sea of enemy forces, identified only by a symbol of a cracked skull. Each of the small nations is marked with a flag in one unit's colour, and a tiny model of a castle.

You are at war. How will you protect your people and yourself?

That is quite a number for Wild City... they will more than likely be the targets of theft from this round on.

We ought not focus on them, but who they are likely to gift. They are one of the few units in a position to do so, now, along with Bad End.

But what just happened with Pep... this... they're going to definitely die at this rate. Is it even possible for them to make things up?

Depends if anyone will gift them this time. They'll otherwise need to steal.

I would suspect not. The dearth of points they have indicates they gifted everything. If they get more points, I suspect they will only continue to gift them away. It looks as though they have chosen to save others, at the cost of themselves.

What they have chosen to do is foolish, but honorable in it's own right. There are lives they value beyond their own, and they have placed all their hopes upon another's survival. I cannot begrudge them that.

Then... what do we do next?

We choose who to steal from. Which units are most likely to receive gifts this round, so we may be lucky enough to have no need for theft in the final one.

Then Baritones... most likely, right? Who else?

If they do, it may be the unit they were assigned for Talon's protection plan. But we can only speculate on that.

pep pep and Lilis seem likely targets for gifts, since they have the lowest points.

Would Bad End or Wild City truly extend a hand to pep pep? They seem to intentionally putting themselves into an unwinnable situation. I cannot believe they were stolen from three times within the first turn— they are not a unit with that many enemies.

Lilis, I believe, is more likely.

I think you are right, that they intentionally gave their points away.
