Pokemon: The Outskirts of Town
On the outskirts of town you'll find large plots of land, each with a sign with your unit in front. They look like they'd be perfect for cultivating gardens--perhaps from those fruit trees you saw before. There's even space enough that you can build your unit's Pokemon a shelter to live in. There's also a scenic outdoor onsen with tiered pools carved out of the sides of another hill perfect for enjoying a relaxing soak after a hard day spent playing and working.

[ sliggoo baps its head on yugi's leg, though it seems glad to know he's nearby, since it can no longer see. it's antennae twitch, since it's trying to get a feel for the rest of its surroundings. ]
It... grew???

Ah. . . I guess I kinda see the similarity. Is there something in that dex-whatever about this?

[ opens the app in his phone and looks up sliggoo: ]
Sliggoo excretes and coats its body with a sticky mucous that can dissolve anything. Because it lacks teeth, it sprays this liquid onto prey and slurps them up once they are dissolved. Its eyes have devolved, causing it to go blind. This makes it difficult for it to tell allies from prey and it will sometimes attempt to melt its companions. Its four horns act as a radar system and are used to detect sounds and smells.
Huh...

Is that better or worse than my guy's soul sucking deal?

Sligoo goo! [ she gently bumps into his pants and looks up at him with a dopey smile. ] Just, ah, be careful, Sliggoo

I guess I could attach a bell somewhere. She doesn't really stray to far, thankfully, but if something were to happen, then that might be a good idea. I think there was a shopping district somewhere around here. Want to come check it out with me?
Maybe we can get you a glove, though I'm still not sure I'd recommend grabbing the hilt.

Let's go, then! I've got no idea what the hell you buy a sword –– polish, maybe?
[Addresses Honedge which. . . doesn't react either way to the idea of a gift of polish.]

Polish might be nice! I'm not sure he needs to be... sharpened... [ looks at him. ] He, ah, doesn't emote much, huh?

. . .
Polish it is! Let's go.

[ that's not slightly unsettling at all. heeee's just going to look away. ]
Come on Sliggoo, let's go! [ he gives her a quick pat and then heads off in the direction of the shopping district. ]
