Pokemon: The Shopping District

Once you've left behind the quaint little houses where everyone lives, you'll reach the shopping district. Here you'll find all kinds of restaurants and whether it's a cute cafe with desserts and drinks or a fancy place with four-star, four course menus both people and Pokemon are welcome. There are also a number of salon, costume, and toy shops catering solely to Pokemon so you can dress and pamper your partner properly. You can also procure raw items and tools to build and decorate those homes for your Pokemon from a number of the shops in the area.

He's been like this since he evolved. I think he's just a growing boy???

[ he devours the remainder of the salad and then sets the bowl down and puts a bunch of silverware into it. he's keeping this stuff. it's his now. ]

What are you doing? Sigh. [ looks to persephone. ] How's your pokemon been?

She, ah, has been fine, I think. A bit, ah, shy.

Gabite, how about finding some chill. She's shy. And I doubt she cares for... [ makes a motion over him. ] this.

[ gabite looks at her and then his bowl of forks... and then offers his pokemon one. ]

Gabite???

[ralts, for her part, is confused.] ....a, ah, gift...?

...I think so? [ she's unsure. takes out her phone and brings up the pokedex app. ] Hm.

Gabite is passionate about shiny objects, such as gems and even Carbink, and it hoards a collection of them in its nest.

[ she nudges gabite. ] Sharing that prized collection of yours? [ gabite bristles, but still tries to insist on giving ralts a fork. y- yes. it's a gift. ]

[forgottenmercy]

[eventually ralts will...take the fork? timidly. unsure of what to do with it.]

...I, ah, see.

[ she shakes her head. gabite is hopeless. ]

[ he is super pleased though, and smiles at ralts as soon as the fork is taken. ] Gabite ga gabite bite!

[does ralts smile back? it's hard to tell.]

That is, ah, sort of sweet.

[ gabite chirps happily. ]

He's kind of a big mush. [ ribs him again. ]

[ he snaps playfully at her, but doesn't say anything against the accusation. ]

Have you guys checked out some of the stores here?

Ah, not yet. I was, ah, meaning to, though...

In, a, a few minutes. Once Airi finishes all her berries. [going to keep feeding her the rest of the berries]

Gabite ga. [ he opens his mouth and points. ]

[forgottenmercy]

[offers Airi some more berries but she only eats one more.] ...if you are,ah, certain. [pushes the berry dish in front of Gabite]

[ gabite looks from the bowl to persephone and then back to the bowl. he smiles, mumbling what probably is a thanks as he starts to eat. he does take his time, being careful not to stuff his face like he had been earlier. he can be good, see! though he really just wants to show his appreciation. ]

[pets his Ralts a bit.]

i saw absolutely nothing.

[ as soon as gabite is finished he grabs his bowl of forks and then tries to maneuver his way out from around the table. ]

Settle down, Sharknado. [ she gets up to follow, sparing a glance to persephone and ralts. ]

[ looks at the stores on the strip and tries to decide which to go on, though sharknado stops in front of the costume store when he sees a pair of sunglasses on a poke mannequin. ]

Gabite gab gab.

You guys wanna check this place out?

[bends head to whisper to Ralts for a moment] Ah, yes.

[ she holds the door for everybody and then heads inside. ]

Aw, look at all of this stuff. It's so cute.

[ gabite starts inspecting everything, but really just wants the shades from the mannequin, which he snatches and sets on his own head, but they don't really... fit properly. he seems to be very distressed about this. ]

I'll take a look. [ since gabite is too busy being devastated... though he eventually wanders over to persephone and ralts to see what they're doing. ]
