Pokemon: The Shopping District

Once you've left behind the quaint little houses where everyone lives, you'll reach the shopping district. Here you'll find all kinds of restaurants and whether it's a cute cafe with desserts and drinks or a fancy place with four-star, four course menus both people and Pokemon are welcome. There are also a number of salon, costume, and toy shops catering solely to Pokemon so you can dress and pamper your partner properly. You can also procure raw items and tools to build and decorate those homes for your Pokemon from a number of the shops in the area.

[ she’s just thanking you for being so considerate earlier, intensity! ]

[ his hand will slip and slide as he tries to shove her back, because finding a good grip on a goo dragon is pretty much impossible. ]

Goodra, let go of him, I think he’s gotten the message. [ reaches for her arm and then gets swept in this hug too. great. now he’s getting crushed and slimed. ]

GoOOoOooOdra! GooOoO! [ she’s pleased as fucken punch right now. ]

[Well guess what. Now there is 13 feet of dragon coiling around them too.

[ oh, uhm, well... this sure is a thing that’s happening. ]

[ talk about awkward. ]

[ goodra, on the other hand, is delighted, and makes a point to troll happily about it. hopefully dragonair wanted some nuzzles ( and slime ) too. at least it’s no long we toxic??? ]

Ok guys, ah, great group hug, but why don’t we go play dodgeball now? [ goodra gives a nod, looming to dragonair. ] Goodra goo. [ dragons vs humans? ]

[Intensity is the first to squirm out of the hug looking extremely indignant --- and he is doing his best to wipe away the slime off his coat and in his metal joints. Ugh. This is so gross.

Dragonair on the other hand, nods in fierce agreement with Goodra. Dragons versus humans. And at their size, they can hold a lot of beach balls. As is evident by Dragonair balancing one on her head, one on her tail, and two along the length of her body.

She trills happily while trying to nudge Yugi over to where Intensity is]

[ as soon as yugi is free he’s going to shrug off his jacket and try to clean himself off with it. he’s about done when dragonair nudges him towards intensity. w- what? goodra was going to be his saving grace in all of this. she’s a wall—! ]

[ goodra just starts grabbing balls and sticking them to herself. she’s going to stockpile ammunition for the top of them. as soon as she’s got pretty much all of them she looks toward intensity and yugi... her happy disposition changing into something much more fierce. ]

Did they just decide that it’s them versus... us... [ goodra is going to peg yugi with a ball and then clap happily. ] Goodra! [ have a ball. A single ball. You’re going to need it. ]

[Intensity is going to burst out laughing at this Pokemon betrayal]

[Until Dragonair also pegs him in the face]

[ tries not to laugh... ]

[ but, ok, fine, now that he’s got a ball he’s going to fling it at goodra. big target should be hard to miss, and throwing balls should be kind of like throwing cards. ]

[ goodra swats the ball back at him with her tail. sorry not sorry, Yugi, try harder. then she points at intensity and hurls a ball at him. ]

[Wow, excuse you, Goodra. He can dodge.

Only for Dragonair to hit him with a ball solidly in the center of his back, causing him to stumble. While she lops another one at Yugi's stomach, trilling happily.

Intensity manages to catch himself while he grabs the two offending beach balls, both at Goodra - but one slightly off so that if she moves to dodge the first, she'll get tagged by the second]

[ yugi just barely manages to dodge the ball flung at him by dragonair, but then goodra goos up the next ball and launches it at his face... where it sticks for a couple of seconds before finally falling to the ground with a wet plop. ]

Really? [ he grabs the ball and follows suit to intensity, throwing his own ball at goodra. she can’t dodge all three. ]

[ goodra uses earthquake to hopefully cause both of them to stumble before they pitch their throws. she’ll cover he mouth to laugh if she’s successful... otherwise she’s probably getting hit by two of the balls. ]

[Bold of you to assume that Intensity can't both throw a ball with perfect accuracy and land on his ass. He can do both! All that practice being on top of moving flying vehicles!

But Dragonair to the rescue as she whaps one ball away with her tail.





And it goes crashing into a shop window somewhere.

[ goodra claps her gooey hands together to applaud dragonair’s stellar inference. she’ll just ignore the fact that it went crashing through a window. ]

[ yugi stumbles, falling forward, but he’s quick to sit up and throw it at dragonair. ]

[ goodra shakes her head and tsks, sniping that ball out of the air with another ball. denied. she’s going to start removing all the other balls from her body, throwing them up into the air and then spinning around to smack them with her tail - alternating between hitting the both of them. she’s got five or six balls, so enjoy that, guys. ]

[This was a mistake. This was a mistake. This was a mist---

He manages to dodge one. Maybe even two. Before the rest just start bouncing off of him.

And how are you supposed to COUNTERATTACK THAT.

Dragonair, on the other hand, thinks this is a wonderful strategy, and just lines up beach balls for Goodra to toss along her spine]

[ and this is the exact reason he hates dodgeball. some people are just fucken relentless! and then it stops becoming fun. yugi dodges one, and by the skin of his teeth, and then he just spends his time getting pummeled. ]

[ a pokemon battle wouldn't have been this bad. why the hell didn't he just take intensity up on that. ]

[ goodra is happy to accommodate! and will keeping bapping balls in their direction until... yugi looks unhappy. yugi and intensity both look unhappy. goodra is suddenly distressed, so she stops her assault and rushes over to give hugs. HUGS MAKE EVERYTHING BETTER! ]

[Maybe because Yugi's pokemon would have melted Dratini. That seems like a good reason!

And now he's being hugged again.







Please put him out of his misery via dodge ball.

[ if dodgeball had been exciting enough to make her evolve, then surely an actual battle would have done the same, that way nobody would have had to worry about being liquefied. ]

Goodra, we're fine.

[ she doesn't seem to believe him and instead takes them both over to dratini. help? they're both sad or unhappy... nevermind that the hug is partially to blame. ]
