Pokemon: Downtown

This is where people come to play it seems. The Battle Arena, where you can challenge your friends, rivals, or anyone really, sits side-by-side the town's Pokemon Center where you can get your Pokemon healed for free after a rousing battle. You and your Pokemon partner (even your entire unit!) can star in short plays to be aired at the movie theater or even beauty pageants showcasing their new hair-cuts and clothes. There's a karaoke bar, a small theme park, an arcade.

I'm not sure. I got her a hat, but I wasn't sure what else she might look nice in. Clothes don't really, ah, suit her.

[ goomy smushes itself into yugi's shoulder and makes a face. ]

Ok, no wig, but what about a cape? [ she springs back up and trills. ] Let's go with a cape!

A gold one to match Yugi's hair a little.

[ it looks as if goomy is thinking about that, but then she starts bouncing up and down. ]

Now we'll match even more. [ bumps his head into hers and... mistakes have been made. sighs. well. might as well stop giving a crap, because it's pretty much everywhere. ]

You might want to go take a swim later to ah. Handle that.

[puzzlers]

I think I'm going to head to the onsen in a bit. Goomy has to stay, ah, w- wet. [ and, yes, he needs to get all of this off him. ]

What sort of things does Goomy need...? Ditto doesn't really need much...

[puzzlers]

[ he opens the pokdex app on his phone and brings up this part of the entry: However, it becomes unable to breath and will die if its body dries out. Because of this, it stays in damp, shady areas. ] I'm going to head into the shopping district to get one of those water backpacks, so I can always spray her down if she gets to, ah, dry.

[takes out a spraybottle and hands it over]

Thank you, B! Look, Goomy. [ spritzes her, and she seems absolutely pleased. guess what, b, incoming slime! ]

AUGH!

[the ditto is absolutely laughing at B]

[puzzlers]

Now it looks like you'll be needing to go for a dip too. [ going to grab goomy before too much damage is done. ] He gets it, Goomy, you're thankful for the spraybottle too.

I'm not going to swim ugghhh...

[puzzlers]

[ looks at b, then looks at the spray bottle, then looks back at b. ]

[ spritzes him??? ]

AUGH!

I think I'm going to go look for a beach towel. Did you want me to bring you back one too? [ gives goomy another spritz. ]

Ah, that'd be great, thanks!

[bouncing D2 on his lap]

Do you mind watching Goomy for a minute? And I'll go get them? [ it'll be easier if he's not lugging her around. s- sorry goomy! ]

Ok, cool, be right back.

[ and he's going to job to the shopping district. ]

[ goomy is... unsure what to do. she seems a bit more nervous when yugi's gone. ] G- Goomy?? [ looks between b and ditto. ]

[Ditto is going to nuzzle at Goomy, making happy little noises and trying to encourage Goomy to play]

[puzzlers]

[ she still seems a bit reluctant, but if ditto nuzzles her again, well, he's a cute blob too and that's hard to resist. she'll play! and goo up the place in the process. h- hopefully nobody slips! ]

[ during all of this playtime she's going to stop in her tracks and start to glow, evolving from goomy into sliggoo. ] Sligoooooo. [ she looks at herself and then ditto and then they get so many more nuzzles!!! ]

[ yugi comes back in time to see her change. ] W- Woah.

[Ditto seems to think this is normal and just nuzzles back]

[puzzlers]

What the hell just happened?

[ ??? ]

[ sliggoo gives ditto one last nuzzle before carefully navigating her way over to yugi. she's apparently gone blind, wtf pokemon, so she follows his voice and then bumps into his legs, which prompts him to kneel. ]

Hey. You, ah, feeling okay? [ looks to b like is this normal??? ]
