Pokemon: Downtown

This is where people come to play it seems. The Battle Arena, where you can challenge your friends, rivals, or anyone really, sits side-by-side the town's Pokemon Center where you can get your Pokemon healed for free after a rousing battle. You and your Pokemon partner (even your entire unit!) can star in short plays to be aired at the movie theater or even beauty pageants showcasing their new hair-cuts and clothes. There's a karaoke bar, a small theme park, an arcade.

I- Intensity.

[ his goo slug meanders out to the front like she's all for it. her antennae are going a bit crazy, eventually settling in the direction of both intensity and dratini. ]

[Dratini would also like to know as she drops off the railing to coil in a heap in in front of sliggoo. Friend? Friend!!!]

[ he brings up the pokedex app and goes to sliggoo's entry. turns up the volume so intensity can hear it: ]

Sliggoo excretes and coats its body with a sticky mucous that can dissolve anything. Because it lacks teeth, it sprays this liquid onto prey and slurps them up once they are dissolved. Its eyes have devolved, causing it to go blind. This makes it difficult for it to tell allies from prey and it will sometimes attempt to melt its companions. Its four horns act as a radar system and are used to detect sounds and smells.

I'd rather not dissolve anybody today or, uhm, ever. [ sliggoo seems to want to play thought, bouncing excitedly as her antennae go wild, since she felt dratini drop nearby. ]

So what? You're keeping your pokemon in time out just because of that?

She's not in time out. [ sliggoo moves a biiiit closer to dratini. ] I just don't want her accidentally hurting anybody.

But stops abruptly when Intensity snaps his fingers, looking disappointed but coming back to trail lazy circles around Yugi instead]

So we just change the rules of the duel.

[And with his ever-obnoxious flair for the dramatics, he places a hand on the battle arena railing and leaps over it, landing next to Sliggoo.]

[And heads in the direction of the shopping district, not really waiting to see if Yugi will follow]

What sort of- Intensity!! [ what the fuck! as soon as he lands sliggoo seems to freak the hell out, because she didn't expect that. she can't see and the ground shook and she's about to spew slime when yugi grabs her and turns her in some other freaking direction. hope nobody wanted whatever the hell that used to be. ]

[ also ow ow ow. sets her down gently and then immediately wipes his hands on his jacket and, whelp, there that goes. ] Come on, Sliggoo. [ waits until she's moved close to his leg again before following. ] We should probably stock up on more raincoats, huh. SliggooOooOoo.
