Pokemon: Downtown

This is where people come to play it seems. The Battle Arena, where you can challenge your friends, rivals, or anyone really, sits side-by-side the town's Pokemon Center where you can get your Pokemon healed for free after a rousing battle. You and your Pokemon partner (even your entire unit!) can star in short plays to be aired at the movie theater or even beauty pageants showcasing their new hair-cuts and clothes. There's a karaoke bar, a small theme park, an arcade.

[By this time, his Dratini is now a Dragonair, which means 13 feet of dragon apparently. And the gentle chiming of bells as it slides forward to great Glaceon.

Intensity laughs as he sizes up Glaceon]

How appropriate. But shouldn't they have given you two - one fire fox and one arctic fox. If they wanted to stay on brand, anyway.

We were only given one, though... and I think I prefer it to be ice in that case.

[Glaceon greets the Dragonair in turn]

Still not ready to tap into that fire of yours?

[Dragonair is now too big to trill and coil around people and pokemon (though she CLEARLY wants to). So she settles with a demure and dignified nose bop to Glaceon]

It wouldn't be my fire since it's hers.

[gestures to his Glaceon, who is scrunching her nose at the bop with a cute kyuu]

Do you really think they're up for a battle?

Me and mine are always ready for a battle. Now it's just a question of is yours.

Frost, would you be up for a battle?

[she turns to look at Duality, then back at the dragon, Intensity, and back at Duality again, letting out a kyuuu of confirmation. she can take 'em!]

[Aka the Battle Arena, which Dragonaire is currently flying over the railing to get to.

Yes, Intensity doesn't understand how she flies either]

Frost is not far behind, jumping down after her, landing perfectly on her feet. Duality walks down after them]

[Once Intensity gets onto his side of the field with Dragonair - he raises one hand high in the air with the voice of someone who has announced many duels in their life]

Dragonair versus Glaceon.

Duel Start!

[And like any good pokemon battle, Dragonair is going to start with a classic Slam maneuver. Which might be awkward considering how small Glaceon is in comparison]

[Glaceon is quick on her feet though, and Duality isn't slow in helping her along]

Frost, look out!

[she's agile enough to avoid the slam narrowly]

[Dragonair skids to the opposite side of the arena, tail coiling and bouncing her back into the right direction.

Think fast, Frost!]

[Frost hisses out in the air, releasing a bunch of icicles in Dragonair's direction, like a little blizzard]
