Pokemon: Downtown

This is where people come to play it seems. The Battle Arena, where you can challenge your friends, rivals, or anyone really, sits side-by-side the town's Pokemon Center where you can get your Pokemon healed for free after a rousing battle. You and your Pokemon partner (even your entire unit!) can star in short plays to be aired at the movie theater or even beauty pageants showcasing their new hair-cuts and clothes. There's a karaoke bar, a small theme park, an arcade.

[Whoa! WHOA! Dratini wiggles it tail in the air and pounces, falling just short of the golden hair as it's pulled away so she has to repeat the action several times as she spins around L. Best game! BEST GAME!]

[S trills and bounces up and down, apparently taking that as a compliment.

L meanwhile, finds this dratini absolutely adorable and is giggling as they play]

So how does duelling work? I'm L, by the way.

[Whatever, he crosses his arms impatiently as he watches the two pokemon and one trainer play]

It's a test of strength and tactics. A two versus two battle between pokemons and trainers. Last person standing wins.

Last person standing?? I don’t want anyone to get hurt!

[S seems just fine with the idea though and bounces out of her arms into the arena]

[Dratini is momentarily distracted by L's hair as it follows S into the arena. Oh oh oh! Are they going to play?

Meanwhile, Intensity just slightly shakes his head. Guess he should have expected this from someone who didn't know what a duel was]
