Pokemon: Downtown

This is where people come to play it seems. The Battle Arena, where you can challenge your friends, rivals, or anyone really, sits side-by-side the town's Pokemon Center where you can get your Pokemon healed for free after a rousing battle. You and your Pokemon partner (even your entire unit!) can star in short plays to be aired at the movie theater or even beauty pageants showcasing their new hair-cuts and clothes. There's a karaoke bar, a small theme park, an arcade.

[Marl’s enthusiastic hopping continues until he topples right off the platform, and Kohime instinctively catches him with a startled squeak. ]

[ st. Germain takes that as a cue to leap into Yvette's arms and she cuddles him while she laughs

The countdown and shutter click happen in the commotion.

"Great Job! Next pose!" ]

Oh my, that was fast!

Are these things supposed to be so clumsy?!

[Dumps Marl back on the platform unceremoniously so his tail with its little bobber is sticking straight up in the air. ]

He's kind of round, maybe that's just how it is for him.

Why is it even still going?

[Flattens her ears back while Marl struggles itself back upright, at least staying on the platform this time. ]

It takes a bunch of shots and then you pick a couple of your favorites to print.

[ it's counting down again. Yvette turns a Marl assist in into a cuddle with both Pokemon ]

[Marl trills excitedly, but Kohime just awkwardly extracts herself from the booth to walk out. ]

[ the camera takes a full body shot of Kohime leaving, Yvette looking surprised and the Pokemon being themselves, then Yvette will let Marl go chase after Kohime and bring her to the decorating side where they met. ]

[It takes Marl a moment to notice, but he does toddle after her. She stands and waits a little back from the booth, not looking upset, just disengaged, leaving whatever is left to do for Yvette and her Eevee. ]

[Wanders over, Marl on her heels. ]

The pictures we took are on the screen here, so you can pick a couple to decorate. Marl can do it too, if they can hold a pen.

[ there's two pens! Yvette hands Kohime one. ]

He can probably drop it. "Holding" it might be asking a bit much.

Okay, then you draw on the screen.

[ she doodles a star and then hits undo. ]

[...Kohime doodles a cartoony face resembling herself with the tongue sticking out while Marl oohs and aahs.]

[ That makes three individuals in the booth impressed. ART :o ]

[Hesitates, then draws a little cartoon version of Yvette on the next one.]

[ takes the other pen and turns it into a flower ]
