Think I'd rather go for 4, 4, 2 just in case, since we don't want anybody going under 0. Our 4 cards aren't so bad, anyways.

Right. So I'd be fine with 4-4-2 at... future is now, Taisho Roman Revolution, ☆ZRAEL? Those two are both off our list and in the 20s.

Is Zrael more likely to hit us though? Because they ARE lower? Mmmm....Getting rid of teams below 25 as well as teams we played against last round and our alliance....

We're left with Taisho, Future, Wild City, Alcheme, Avante and Baritones.

Out of those, I think Alcheme and Avante are least likely to hit us. So my suggestions would be Taisho, Future, Wild City and Baritones then. Perhaps Taisho, Baritones and Wild City? Since all of them tend to play defensively?

Even if John says he doesn't mind, if we're only gonna hit one high one I'd rather hit any of 'em but Wild City. Just in case it does make him unhappy later. I'm cool with Taisho Roman Revolution and BARiTONES, though.

We could hit more than one high one.

Basically our options are Taisho, Future, Wild City, Alcheme, Avante and Baritones. Just, I doubt Amaranth would want to hit Cardigan's team. I don't particularly want to hit Q's team. And, similarly, I don't....really feel comfortable hitting Wild City when John doesn't have his memories. If he had his memories and said yes, that would be one thing, but without just feels sneaky.

So........Taisho, Future, Bit? Or something else?

Another option.......would be just playing two cards?

Baritones and Taisho have no love for us and have been shown to play defensively. To be honest though, if I remember correctly, FiN loses fairly often? I can't say I've paid attention.

If we're truly just playing to block....Taisho and Bit, for sure.

Just Taisho Roman Revolution and BARiTONES would also be fine with me, since we're in the high thirties. Unless EVERYBODY goes "let's hit LiliS since they're not too high or too low", we probably won't hit 0. Can't see playing 2 instead of 3 being what ends us.

Maybe I'm a bad person for saying this, but....3. We've played very kindly throughout this whole game. We've never played a higher card then what we felt was right. And we've been very sympathetic to all the teams in our decision making.

Even in this last round....playing just two 4's and a 2........isn't it fine if LiliS gets a turn to live?

I'd still rather not hit BARiTONES, if it can be avoided.
We don't have a formal arrangement, but... I know Kohime generally discourages them from attacking us, and I think that will continue as long as I can still say the same to her.

Who would you suggest in Baritones place then?

Can you remind me who we've struck so far? Those units we hit before I returned.

In general, I would suggest ZRAEL instead. While they are not higher in points than us, we unfortunately know from experience that it is important that a sufficient number of teams have lower scores than we do, even if we think we should be safe.

...And besides, I am not above suggesting that they feel the community's sanction at a time like this, if it will pressure them to hold their unitmates more strictly accountable.

In the last round we struck HSS, SensitIV and 10IV. HSS and SensitIV were at 41 and 39. 10IV has shown to be willing to play high cards and were at 32. We only played low cards on them and non violent ones.

In this round we cannot hit them. We cannot hit Bad End because they are our alliance. The team as a whole does not wish to hit any team with 25 or less points. I do not wish to hit Alcheme. I do not wish to make you hit Avante. And I refuse to hit Wild City when John does not remember them. If he remembered them and was able to fully consent, that would be different.

That only leaves Taisho, Future and Baritones.

So you would punish an entire team for the actions of an individual? If LiliS were to get someone unmanageable, you would expect the entire community to strike our whole team too to punish the individuals actions and teach us a lesson?

If one of our own were to commit an atrocity, we would be accountable for that—and it would be our responsibility to ensure that it never happened again.
That kind of accountability isn't easy, but I believe in it quite deeply.

[ a beat ] And besides, none of what we're looking at inflicting is harsh. Between BARiTONES and ZRAEL, I know BARiTONES is much more sensitive to the general... principle of getting hit at all, if that makes sense.
