Along the center line of the lower deck is a well-stocked full bar. It has wine, all manner of liqueurs—both familiar and more exotic. Behind the bar, between the shelves of bottles and glasses, hangs an elaborate, filigreed full-face mask with two cutouts for eyes. Perhaps an acquisition from the owner's expeditions?
A bartender in vest and shirtsleeves offers to pour the lot of you a drink. There is a specials menu for the occasion that he slides across to you; it seems to have the drink of every current member of BARiTONES, although Kohime's seems to be something exotic called mavnoor.
Do you have anything low on alcohol content? It would be a waste not to try anything, but it's no good for a doctor to drink too heavily even at an occasion like this, either.
Well, good sir, there are at least a couple drinks on tonight's special menu that can be made virgin. Mavnoor is... best described as similar to a beer, but Martians like their alcohol strong, so it's still probably a bit much for you.
[ And then he pours him a "Paloma"—like its namesake, grapefruit, lime, tequila, sugar, and soda. It's sweet, refreshing, tasty—
but there's a sort of bitter aftertaste that's not quite like grapefruit that underscores it all, and a flash of furious sorrow followed by homesickness. ]
[ He mixes you a glass—bourbon, lemon, orange, agave syrup, aromatic bitters, egg white, and wine, garnished with a slice of orange.
When you drink it, it's delightfully fruity, and you feel a little flirty, a little bolder than normal, and prone to a teasing sort of affection and kinship. ]
My favorite? It depends on what you want to experience. Though, if you're interested in the Guest of Honor, I believe the Paloma is her personal drink. No idea why, although I imagine it's refreshing to someone who comes from the desert.
The menu's so long because the Guest of Honor refuses to pick a favorite, I hear.
Well, for one thing, word has it she wants to know if you can get drunk, Ma'am.
[ And then he pours her a "Paloma"—like its namesake, grapefruit, lime, tequila, sugar, and soda. It's sweet, refreshing, tasty—
but there's a sort of bitter aftertaste that's not quite like grapefruit that underscores it all, and a flash of furious sorrow followed by homesickness. ]
She's been a bit busy, though. What with the war, after all, but she's also been overseeing some renovations.
Right away, Miss! Those have been popular, tonight; you have excellent taste.
[ He pours you three drinks:
The Ruby Sour: bourbon, lemon, orange, agave syrup, aromatic bitters, egg white, and wine, garnished with a slice of orange. When you drink it, it's delightfully fruity, and you feel a little flirty, a little bolder than normal, and prone to a teasing sort of affection and kinship. ...which is to say you're now turbocharged on that I guess
The Kohime: A beer brewed with livestock blood in the fermentation process. It leaves you with feeling of of bittersweet nostalgia.
And then he pours you a "Paloma"—like its namesake, grapefruit, lime, tequila, sugar, and soda. It's sweet, refreshing, tasty—
but there's a sort of bitter aftertaste that's not quite like grapefruit that underscores it all, and a flash of furious sorrow followed by homesickness. ]

From here you can go to the lower deck.

Well, first of all, I don't think she's that sort of priest, and even if she was, she'd probably demand a better caliber of pick-up line.
That's a bit of a surprise to hear, though. She's been rather controversial, as of late.
