[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside, all of you in your sleepwear, with a message on your phone.

Good morning, newly departed guest stars! You've got new co-stars to meet, a new dorm to explore, and the television in the main room with the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to them, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color as well as a mythological creature (if that is available to you—some of you will have that option grayed out). Or assign them to each other, really, no one's stopping you.

Once you've chosen your color and creature (or, once it's chosen for you), your closets will unlock with 3 sets of traditional Japanese clothing fitted exactly to your size. Additionally, upon choosing your creature, you might find yourself suddenly with some new appendages (check Player Notes).

Also, the front door is currently locked. It looks like you actually have no choice but to get to know each other for an hour or two before those open up. ]

So you're brightness caste? That's pretty cool! Does everybody have one where you're from?

I'm a Solar Exalt of the Dawn caste.

If all people were chosen by the gods, then no one would be.

Speaking of! Did you need help picking a color and clothes and stuff or is this just your look?

Friendship is useful for alliances, but is not a power of it's own.

I have picked my color. I was not aware of clothing being available, but I do not need help dressing myself.

[She pats his arm (fully expecting to be shaken off)]

I didn't think you couldn't wear clothes. I just wanted to support your fashion sense, since that's what friends are for.

[Oh Hiroto isn't going to like this at all. That said, he is also not going to be overly cruel to someone, certainly not just for being too cheerful and friendly.]

Earned...ah. There must be so many people trying to cozy up to you if you run 100 kingdoms.

...It's also gotta be so much paperwork all the time. Don't envy that part at all.

[He IS worse than that but that's mostly in his past and possibly in his future due to the 'taking over the Hundred Kingdoms' goal.]

There are half as many as are trying to kill me, at most. I have not conquered them yet.

Sounds like a lot of people to win over... So, I guess when we win this, you'll be able to take care of them all?

[He did a LOT of murder... He doesn't love that about himself, though.]

Once this is over, I will be 'taking care' of everyone, correct.

I would be quite a terrible ruler, but I will only have to be there for a short time. And then...
