Passing through the front door, you reach the manor's foyer:

There's not much to say here that isn't evident. Besides the the music playing from the surround sound system and whatever is going on with the interior design, it's a regular foyer.

The stairs both lead to the same place, and you think you see a bar off to the right? A door behind the staircase leads elsewhere.

Are we still in the escape room?

[ She looks prepared. Possibly over-prepared. ]

It surely must be, but I admit it's... not at all what I expected.

[ that outfit is a lot to unpack. not that hers is any more practical but it's what she's got. ]

Well—um, at least we're not seeing hostiles yet, so we can scout it out.

Yes, but stay close. There aren't enough of us here for splitting up to be wise.

Do you have anything you can use to defend yourself?

Er—if you mean a weapon, no, but I assumed I'd be filling the medic role.

...I could probably handle a sword, if I had one, but at least so far, I don't think the situation calls for it.

Well, it isn't impossible that we're somewhere else, but this could be the same place too - couldn't it...? I think that it does these sorts of things sometimes...

I think that's a good idea. If we're able to understand that, then it'll be easier to decide where to go from here, won't it?

It's definitely not what I expected, but I'm not sure I expected anything in particular...

This is a really interesting looking manor, isn't it...?

It's almost as if there were two different manses that got jumbled together.

As long as you're quick on your feet with ZRAEL's abilities, you should be able to defend yourself, but I will do my best to act as our front-line fighter.

The countertop has a piece of paper on top of it. There are also several frosted mugs, enough for your whole party to drink from. The liquid inside of them is green and odourless.
